  Can we talk about the declining quality at SUBWAY RESTAURANTS? Today, I want to focus on the Subway at 1091 Chemong Rd #6, Peterborough, ON. First, when you walk in, the glass doors and windows are smudged and dirty with fingerprints. The display case is dirty, and when I looked in the cooler at the vegetables, many were frozen, and the lettuce was brown and mushy! I asked for fresh lettuce, but the worker said this was all they had. The meat appears dry, and the containers are dirty with dried food on them. I was ordering a veggie sub for my granddaughter. Since the lettuce was all mushy, I said no to that option. I looked at the cucumbers they were frozen. She only put three finely sliced cucumbers on the sub just three small cucumbers. We pay $10 for a 6-inch veggie sub, and I asked for extra cucumbers, hoping she’d take some from the fresher side, but she didn’t. The tomatoes were mushy too. Everything looked HORRIBLE! I realize it's up to us as consumers to go into fast food restaurants and pay for our food, but as we all know, food prices have soared. It’s supposed to be a treat to order from these places, and you’d think they’d take more pride in presentation and food quality. It’s been so upsetting because it's not just Subway many other restaurants are just as disappointing. Can the owners of these restaurants particularly the subway to take some time and clean up and provide better vegetables. Subways slogan is eat fresh well let's do better so we can!!

  I had went to the store after already being annoyed that the app wasn't working for the BOGO coupon and then had asked for help and the employee that I asked for help basically just said "yea it's a crappy app" and didn't offer any assistance or advice or to work out a compromise. I had then just decided well I need food so I'll order anyways and the same employee intentionally made my sub poorly. They put the cheese all over the place and gave me stale breed. I was so upset because usually I don't have a problem with this store however this taller male individual was being so unbelievably disrespectful. Like Initially I wanted to order the subs on the app using a BOGO coupon that said it worked with this store and then on payment said it didn't so I was already upset but they didn't even offer to help me whatsoever. I almost don't want subway again after this experience

  Horrible service, incompetent employees, and expired produce that they were still trying to serve. Lettuce was brown and slimy, and when asked if they had different lettuce I was looked like I was ignorant for even asking. I decided to go without and asked for subsauce and pepper, I looked over at another employee who was talking to me and when I looked back there was subsauce, mustard, mayo on the sub. I repeated that I only wanted subsauce and pepper and the response was so you don't want this. I answered no and the employee started scraping the sauces off with a knife leaving a bunch still on there, looked at me and said "it's good". No it's not good and you have lost a customer permanently.
