Was in the restaurant after it recently re opened. It started with terrible service right when walking in the door. The woman taking orders as the cash was horribly slow and then instead of dealing with us who was next when a delivery driver showed up to pick up an order she took 10 mins to try and sort that out only to find out the food wasn't ready for pick up. Finally takes our order and then we probably waited 15-20 mins to actually get out food.
Then we go to sit at one of the many vacant takes and it's very dirty. Hasn't been wiped on a regular basis. It's like they forgot they had tables in the restaurant. There was other people food droppings all over the table. I can't really say that I'll be back there any time soon.
It was an extremely disappointing experience.

Will give new location another chance given they just opened!
However I don’t think you should have rushed to open, inside hardly looks finished. The entry light would probably set someone off who has epilepsy it’s flickering so bad. One of the two doors doesn’t work and it looks like some one smashed the lock off.
Went today, about 20 mins to order and get two tacos and a fry. Not the workers fault as it is very apparent you’re understaffed.
Poor girl working cash was on her. 7th day straight, 11 hours a day or more (without more than one 30 min break).
Out of most hot sauce and no nacho cheese sauce for the fry supreme; but could not add extra sour cream instead without a charge? Make that make sense.
Anyways, maybe you need to close until your up and running. And please for the love of god treat your employees well, and they will treat their job just as well. They’re not robots.
Also asked for the girls name at the cash so I could leave a review of her positive personality even though you can tell/witnessed very unhappy customers, because of the lack of preparation done at this new location. However the two staff one couldn’t understand my question after a few times the other said everyone’s new and no one knows each others names.
Like I said… before you scare your customers away maybe you need some more time to open.
Also, the fries changed! Is there anyone to order the old fries that aren’t covered in whatever this red spice is?

Food: Cold, noticeably worse then before and smaller sizes. You want soda, too bad you get water with no syrup. Ice literally piled up at the dispenser from people throwing their drinks away in frustration.
Service: I don't have anything nice to say. The managers need to do their job to ensure that the cashiers aren't overworked. 25 minutes to pick up food that is ready is crazy.
Atmosphere: Modern, but lacks instructions for people picking up. Why is there no line for picking up? I had to wait in line for 25 minutes watching my food get cold under no heat lamp. The entire floor on the customer side was wet with no mats or anyone cleaning things up.
BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT. I will not be coming back till I see more frequent positive reviews, and I'll change my review if I see a change in person.

Customer service was rude and impatient, they forgot to give us one of our cups and once we asked for the other one they gave us a lid that was too large so we had a cup without a lid, then proceeded to wait 45 mins for our small order and was ice cold when we got it and portion sizes were horrible, ordered a beef burrito and they put a sneeze worth of beef on said burrito, all items were nothing but a dissapointment, the inside when you walked in was a slipping hazard the mats literally splashed when you took a step and no no slipping signs they’re also missing a handle on the out door leaving a hole to the inside of their lock and inside the metal door, injury waiting to happen for curious kids, you’d think being a brand new renovated red they would at least TRY to start out strong! The staff look overwhelmed and not properly trained and confused, What makes it even more sad is that this is the only Taco Bell in Peterborough so you don’t even have the option to go to the good one, cause this one ain’t it.

I have quite a few reasons why this is a one star after the renovations.
1) my boyfriend and I only went in because we got a gift card for Christmas and wanted to treat ourselves. AFTER ordering we are told that they don’t take gift cards, even though the card says can be used at any Taco Bell in Canada.
2) the girl working the till it was her FIRST day and she had no proper training nor was the manager helping her in the slightest so the poor girl was left to crash and burn
3) we waited 45 minutes for the food, we ordered two combos, their pop machine was broken so they only had bottles. And even tho the combo comes with a drink they still up charged $1.30 for the drink and didn’t tell you.
4) they ran out of many key ingredients like lettuce and the new girl had to tell everyone and get yelled at even though that is a managers job to deal with unhappy customers.
5) we watched a worker drop stuff on the floor and put in right back on the shelf, people not wearing gloves or hairnets which is a huge health and safety hazard.
And to top it all off once we got the food it is horrible and missing all the main ingredients that make it a crunch wrap, all around they have officially killed the only taco bell left in town.
