I had a very disappointing experience with the night staff at Burger King while picking up an Uber order around 8:30 PM.
When I arrived, the employees were talking among themselves, and I wasn’t sure who was handling orders. I politely asked another staff member about the order, and this seemed to upset one of the employees. She began arguing with me, saying If i have something personal problems with her, and I was being rude and needed to “control myself,” even though I had simply asked about the order. I explained that I did not know who was responsible for taking or handing out orders, as I am only there to pick up deliveries.
When I asked to speak to a manager, she claimed that she was the manager. As I was leaving, she followed me to the exit door, continuing to make comments about my behavior and even about my appearance. I found this very unprofessional and unnecessary.
Later that night, I returned for another pickup. Again, there was an uncomfortable interaction with the same staff member. She claimed she had informed her manager about me and asked for my name and the time I would return in the morning. I told her I would speak directly to the manager myself. After these incidents, I received two negative ratings on my Uber driver profile that same night, which I strongly believe were given unfairly due to this personal conflict.
The next morning, I spoke with the store manager, Dani. She informed me that she had not been told anything about the situation and had not requested my name, which was concerning. However, she was very cooperative, listened carefully to my concerns, and apologized on behalf of the store.
Working in customer service requires professionalism, patience, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect those standards. I hope this feedback helps improve the situation so that other drivers do not face similar treatment in the future.
This was not my first negative experience at this location, and I hesitated to post this review. However, I believe it is important to share honest experiences.
If it were possible, I would give zero stars specifically for the way this situation was handled by the night staff member. Unfortunately, that option isn’t available, but the experience truly deserves serious attention.
