  We decided to stop into Swiss Chalet on April 9th 2026 for a late lunch. What a treat! We were served by Hildy who knocked it out of the park. She was pleasant, professional, answered questions with charm and knowledge and she genuinely spoke to us as an interested and “wanting to do her best” server. We were impressed with Hildy. Customer service is not dead! Hildy wouldn’t allow for that ! Mary and Graham

  Really good food!! I love the chicken wings here I do think they could be bigger (meatier) I tend to like buffalo style (size of wings) but I also really like their buffalo honey flavored wings. I was disappointed to hear that the sweet potato fries were discontinued which is sad as they were delicious and flavorful!! They also have pure leaf tea which is my favorite ice tea brand so I look forward to a pure leaf tea every time I go. Nice atmosphere and quick service.

  I placed a delivery order for a chicken and shrimp combo. I was not sent the shrimp. I asked for a reasonable amount to be refunded. I was told that customer service wasn't authorized to do that. Instead, I was forced to wait around for the shrimp to be delivered separately. By the time all the food had arrived, I'd waited 1 hour 50 minutes from when I ordered, and the chicken and rice had sat around for over an hour because I did not order chicken and rice with shrimp for dessert, I ordered a combo, and I waited until my entire order had been delivered. I also had to waste my time sitting around waiting, and that wait was longer because the delivery driver made other stops along the way, which is just insulting. Now, the restaurant did respond to my complaint... by offering me a free meal in the restaurant. Since I don't live near Swiss Chalet, I would have to spend $8.50 on the bus or around $25 in Ubers in order to get a meal I don't want to compensate for your bizarre refusal to refund me for not sending what I paid for. Gee, thanks, what an attractive offer, I get to spend more money on to get to a restaurant that I already know can't put together a basic order. The worst of it is that I ordered from Swiss Chalet because it's a Canadian company that I wanted to support, but I guess I should have gone with St-Hubert. Literally thanks for nothing.

  Tonight we decided to treat ourselves to our childhood restaurant. We haven't been to a Swiss Chalet in over 20 years! It was definitely not a nostalgic memory. I ordered the hot chicken with the new fully loaded french fry and the new mac and cheese sides. Well the hot chicken was not it. The bread was stale, the gravy was cold, the (brown) chicken was dry. The fries were exactly like the supreme fry from taco bell , except it had bacon bits. The Mac and cheese literally had no cheese only breadcrumbs served on the dish. I then replaced the Mac and cheese for a garden salad which 2 fruit flies came flying out! Anyways we felt robbed.
