  Our waitress was amazing, very busy but maintained her wonderful attitude and smile, helped us through questions and us having kids was accommodating to thier needs and food likes and dislikes. She vas very polite, listened to everything, always checked up and made sure we were good. This you lady deserves a raise or something as a thank you for being a great employee and ambassador for Swiss Chalet.

  The two quarter chickens we received at the pickup area, at 7:50 PM November 10 were not just cold, they were ice cold. The chicken, the sauce, the fries were all ice cold. I'm guessing someone returned an Uber order for some reason, they let it sit on the shelf for half an hour and then sold it to us again when we came by to pick up our order. That's very poor and unsafe practice. We opened the boxes about 5 minutes after we received our order and it was obvious they were over sitting in that box for over an hour.

  My experience consuming in this restaurant is good, but if you are going to order to take away they give you very small portions of salad and the other accompaniments of any food order.. I do not recommend ordering to take away, they also forget to give you all the products and give you the closed bags, so you have no option to verify that everything is going well and complete..

  We just received our food (delivery) It was COLD, plus my mac & cheese pulled pork looked like it was someone's leftover. The dish was 2/3 full and there was a lost french fries in there as well. Check picture. I tried to call the restaurant instead putting it online but nobody was able to answer the phone. I understand Saturday is a busy night, but nobody can answer??

  As a master reviewer with Google, and 3 million views later, I want you to share my honest experience at this establishment🫤 We placed an order with Swiss Chalet the morning of Thanksgiving, for a pickup time of 7pm. The website kept crashing🪦, so we called to place our order. That process went smoothly. 🤭 The troubles started at 7 PM…we arrived on scene🔎🕵️‍♀️. My husband went inside to pick up the order, and was ambushed by a crowd of other waiting patrons. To be expected, I surmise, as it was Thanksgiving after all. He waited patiently. 5 min 🕖10 min 🕥15 min 🕕20 min🕣... 30 min later, the food was in our possession at last🎊👏 p.s. A Karen emerged from the ashes, albeit being Thanksgiving where people are supposed to be thankful and appreciative of people around them...I sincerely apologize for the employees having to deal with her.😒🙂‍↔️ Once we arrived home, we shared our Thanksgiving meal. And although I am thankful for him, I was not too pleased with the meal🫥 The portions were small. The ribs were tender but the sauce needed some improvement; I prefer the ribs at Montana's as theirs were more smoky and had a better taste. My husband's chicken was good, but he wished the skin was more crispy.🍗🐷 The sides - baked and loaded baked potatoes - were mid, and needed more love. They were not hot, and we live a 2-3 minute drive away from Swiss Chalet.❄️🥶 The highlight for me was the delicious apple pie. I appreciated the apple chunks which gave it a nice texture. My husband asked for a pumpkin pie but got an apple one - we understood that it was sold out. However, the pies were still frozen and we waited 2h for them to thaw.🍎🥧🥶 Overall, the invoice came out to 65$, which in my humble opinion, was too expensive for what we received. I would also consider reducing the amount of paper/plastic packaging...🤕🌏
