  Ordered dinner from this location as I often do... the food has gone downhill in the past few months. Paid extra for barbecue glaze on the chicken, either the glaze has no flavor or they didn't use any. Experienced the very same the last time I ordered as well. Donuts were hard and basically inedible, obviously old or had been sitting out for too long. Chicken was also a bit cold. Some of the fries were stale/undercooked. We're done with Swiss Chalet... if this is what happens elsewhere, it makes sense why other locations have closed. Such a shame as it used to be so good.

  So, Swiss Chalet used to be reliable and comfortable. Last week, we went to the Carling restaurant and ordered the chicken and ribs special and the chicken parmigiana. First, my son’s parmigiana looked pretty overcooked. But he started eating, and pretty quickly found a piece of a dirty wet nap embedded in the chicken batter under the sauce. Soooo gross. So we quietly let our server know, and she asked if we wanted it remade. We agreed, and she said she would discount the dinner. Then, as I moved from my ribs to my chicken, I noticed the meat seemed undercooked. Now, I know that rotisserie chicken can appear pink because of the brining, etc. So I kept eating a bit, and then once closer to the bone, it was undeniably raw. The meat was pink and red and fully uncooked. My sons parmigiana looked wanted to tell the server and take a picture of the food, but I was upset about having already complained, and isn’t want to make a further scene. I asked for the bill, and she brought it with the full price to pay, no discount. By this time, I was sincerely upset, and so I tipped her normally and paid and left. I literally couldn’t believe she didn’t discount the dinner with the wetnap in it. Also, we took the replacement meal to go, and just left. I was very concerned I would be sick from the food, and thankfully I was not. However, I cannot believe the disgusting food quality, and also cannot beleive the way the server treated us. I left the raw chicken blatantly exposed on the plate before she brought the bill so that she would notice when she took the plate away, too. Absolutely disgusting

  Ordered on Jan 2nd . Cold fries , cold chicken . We watched the driver circle around town for about 25 minutes dropping off numerous orders before dropping at our place . They use door dash or some other delivery service - no idea what the driver was doing . Called to complain as we ended up microwaving our dinner . Lady on the phone offered a $5 credit !!!!! We spent over $100.00. Tried to call the store directly to resolve the issue directly with manager - and couldn’t get through to anyone so now coming to google to leave a 1 star review . We all agreed that this is the Last time we order from this Swiss chalet . Work on your customer service !

  Grateful for Swiss Chalet delivery. It was a delicious meal, and i'm grateful that the food containers are cardboard with very little plastic, makes things very easy to recycle. Swiss Chalet is always comfort food, and the holiday meal is always amazing. From the chicken that's always delicious, to the stuffing and cranberry sauce. The price is always reasonable, doesn't matter which restaurant you are at, everything is the same, and i'm truly grateful for that. Thank you very much Swiss Chalet for being the great restaurant you are and not changing no matter which location it's at. Truly impressive, well priced, delicious meal. I can't ask for anything more.

  Food was ordered 2 days in advance for festive lunch for work. We called to confirm morning of to make sure the delivery of 19 festive meals and 1 vegetarian meal would be delivered for the office party at noon. The store confirmed it was not an issue. At 1155 am we went to meet the drive. Waited 1hour and 10 minutes for delivery. No one answered the phone at the store while we waited on hold for 39 minutes. The delivery driver sent us Pictures of the people at the restaurant ignoring him at 12:45 when the meals were confirmed to be delivered for 12. We called corporate office and spent 42 minutes on the phone with them. They told us that if it was an hour late, they could help us, but when I was still on the phone with them at the one hour point, they suggested I call the store. When we called another location to ask them to deliver to us they advised that they were not allowed to deliver to our location and only the location that wasn’t answering was allowed to deliver. The man on the phone refused to escalate us to a supervisor and told us to call the store directly. I was finally able to get a supervisor after asking 6 times. When the driver finally arrived at 1:10 pm The food was cold. The boxes were dirty. The corporate office finally called us back and said sorry they couldn’t get a hold of the store But they were unable to provide us with any discount or assistance. We could’ve ordered from A food delivery company and been better off. The corporate office said they would continue trying to contact the store, but that nobody was answering and they would have somebody from the Location call us back. This was not a last-minute order. It was planned two days in advance, and confirmed the morning of , and yes it was large but it was simple.
