  This subway was so bad. We took 2 protein bowl and spent 34 CAD + and barely got our money’s worth it quantity. It also tasted super bland. Never trying again

  I had a very disappointing experience at the Subway located at 419 King St W Unit FC5 in Oshawa. As clearly shown on their in-store screen, there was a promotion advertised for “2 Classic Footlongs for $8.99 each.” I went in specifically to take advantage of this deal. However, when I asked about it, the two elderly staff members working there responded with attitude and refused to honor the promotion. They bluntly told me that if I wanted a 12-inch footlong, they could make one — otherwise, the deal was not available. This was confusing and frustrating because the promotion was actively being displayed on their menu boards. It felt misleading, like the deals are only there to lure customers in but are not actually honored when you try to order. Since I was already there, I ended up ordering a regular sandwich, which cost me almost $14 — far from the advertised promotion. I do want to mention that the young lady who prepared my sandwich and added the vegetables was polite and professional. She provided good service and deserves recognition. Overall, advertising deals that staff refuse to honor is unacceptable. This experience felt misleading and unprofessional.
