  The vibe was friendly and convenient, and the value is solid for a fast-casual sub shop. If you’re in Orillia and craving a good, no-fuss sub sandwich Mr.Sub is definitely worth a try.

  Dry, stale bread. Paid for extra cheese and got NO cheese Paid 6$ for a side of tater tots and got like 4. Dry meat balls, no sauce. Go eat literally anywhere else.

  Noon on a Wednesday in a busy commercial area and ONE person working? People only have so long for lunch and I walk in to one person serving the already three people in front of me. Turned around, out the door. One person working a food spot during lunch is *insane*. Hire appropriate staff, absolutely ridiculous.

  September 22, 2025. Did you know you have to pay for toppings at Mr. Sub now. You do at 425 West St. Orillia. I went to get a basic assorted sub that I have bought since in my teens. I ordered the sub, was asked if I wanted extra cheese, said no thank you, the scruffy elderly foreigner, seemed angry already, placed the sub on the metal with no wrap under it, then asks me what topics I would like, I said tomato, lots of lettuce and olives, onion and sub sauce. He hesitantly added extra lettuce then hesitantly added olives, I asked him to add more olives, he added one at the top and a couple at the other end, I explained no, no, I am sorry, I was asking for lots of olives please. The scruffy guy says, if you get more olives you have to pay for them. This will be more than I put on. I was shocked, I said keep the sub and left the store. I went to Little Caesars next door instead. I have went here for years they are always rude but and scruffy, but never have I had to pay for toppings before ever. So ridiculous. Good bye, Mr. Sub forever! Hello Little Caesars, better than a cheap sandwich any day. SR
