  This restaurant was life changing to me. The atmosphere of the restaurant really set thelod when I dined here. The chicken Parma pasta was amazing fr and watered my mouth with every bite

  It was a cold Sunday evening and I walked into this east side Mario’s not to sure what to expect. However it was amazing! The second I walked through the warm welcoming door I was greeted by an incredibly nice hostess who very nicely brought me to my table. The servis was fantastic!

  I don't believe anyone can go to esm and be surprised by the decor and atmosphere. You know exactly what you are walking into. Therefore for what it is I say it's 5/5 for atmosphere. We also had excellent service tonight from our waitress. My only comment was the lasagna was a little underwhelming and it should have been heated up more. It wasn't bad by any means though. In saying this, esm isn't known as being high end so what can you really expect? Solid 4/5 overall.

  It was my first time dining at this restaurant, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. I ordered the seafood linguine, but when my food arrived, they served me the linguine chicken tetrazzini instead. I decided to accept it and give it a try, but by then my mood and appetite were already gone. It would really help if the servers repeated the order back to customers to avoid mistakes like this. A simple confirmation could prevent mis‑orders and improve the overall dining experience.

  I’m not one to write a review, especially a negative one, but my experience here last night made me want to save other people from coming to this location. My husband and I went with our 2 year old daughter ahead of 5pm. There were a lot of staff and not many people there. We had to ask for a high chair or booster 3 times before someone brought it over. Our server eventually came and took our order, and shortly after that the lights started going off and on. We were confused and it was upsetting our child who was starting to cry so we went up to ask someone (a few people were standing around the bar). The response we got was “oh ya, half our hydro went out” and shrugged. We went back to our booth in darkness with no one offering to move us to the actually lit part of the restaurant, so we requested to move. In all this time, 3 different serves came up to us to ask if we ordered and no one ever brought us our drinks or bread that we asked for when we first walked it. Eventually we just asked to cancel our order and left since nothing ever came despite many servers standing around talking - and not because of the hydro “issue” as they said it wouldn’t affect ordering or making any food. Honestly, it was the weirdest experience. Extremely do not recommend. Sadly our location near us was closed so I guess this child-friendly restaurant is no longer an option for us.
