  I am writing this review in regard to my experience at this restaurant Saturday Nov 22 . Let me begin by saying our server Jack was great for just being very new in the service industry and this has nothing to do with him, but my issue is with the manager who came over to our table , because of my request about a filthy plate . What I found at the bottom of my plate was covered in honey garlic sauce. I did not have anything with honey garlic . I put my hand on it while scrapping leftovers into a takeout container. I believe the managers name was steph, shorter thick lady . Wow ridiculous did not come back to our table to even offer a little something!! Not properly handled. I did not see one manager walk around either . I also want to mention the CRABBY face Indian man who never smiled extremely aggressive when speaking to staff , you should go back to training and learn how to be an actual manager. I think Corporate should actually know about your lack of customer service skills. I truly feel bad for the staff working under these two clowns.

  I recently had the pleasure of dining at East Side Mario's in Oakville, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in several ways. For anyone seeking quality food in the Oakville area, this establishment is certainly worthy of consideration. The cuisine was genuinely impressive—flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. Each dish demonstrated care in its preparation and presentation, making for a thoroughly enjoyable meal. What truly distinguished this visit, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Despite the restaurant operating at near-full capacity during my visit, the team maintained their professionalism and attentiveness throughout. The servers were not only friendly and approachable but also remarkably helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly despite the demanding environment. It is worth noting that this location tends to be quite busy, which speaks to its popularity among locals and visitors alike. While this does create a lively atmosphere, it in no way detracted from the overall dining experience, thanks largely to the staff's efficient management of the crowd. In conclusion, East Side Mario's in Oakville offers a compelling combination of delicious food and commendable service. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience in the area.

  Server was nice however it did feel like they were understaffed. Never having been to this chain before I was thoroughly disappointed in almost everything ordered. Food was incredibly bland and took forever to come out for what it was. The all you can eat sides were pretty awful that I can't imagine you would want more than one serving ever just to try it out.

  We went yesterday with a 8:45 pm reservation for four. we all got the all you can eat pasta deal. we were seated by our server and the restaurant was empty besides a couple people. if you don't have important parts of the service and deal you're supposed to mention it before customers spend over a 100 dollars on bad incomplete tasteless food. Firstly we were told there is no tomato soup left(we don’t eat meat). We were disappointed but let that go. Then we were told there is no croutons. We let that go too. Then we were told after ordering our food. That there is no more rose sauce or tomato sauce ( we were on our first round rn) and we could not order other pastas outside the 4-5 pastas in the deal which 2-3 of require tomato sauce and they didn’t have any meaning we weren’t left with many choices. We should’ve been told all these details before we placed our orders. We also asked to be compensated with something or anything vegetarian as soup of our choice wasn’t available and we were told that’s not possible as it’s only salad or soup. We also got bottomless drinks and ice tea and on our first refill we were told that the bar is closed and they won’t be able to. They gave us a Coke refill on an ice tea glass. Why do you advertise something as all you can eat when you have such poor service and waste a customers money with zero consideration. The server did her job but acted as if it is what it is and expected us to deal with everything being missing despite it being a restaurant problem that so many of your items are missing on the menu after you have seated us. We also left them a good tip (they didn’t deserve it really). We paid a total of 116 dollars. They didn’t do anything to compensate us for the bad service and incomplete items and food. Nothing. We also mentioned on our booking that it is the birthday of one of our members and nothing was taken care of. They simply forgot. As if we are to spend this much money on an all you can eat deal we should be given all our items. This was a terrible experience and honestly the way you treat your customers. No one should be back.

  My boyfriend and I went to east side Mario’s tonight wanting to have a cute dinner before heading to a movie. We decided that to get the all you can eat salad and bread. The second he took a bite of the salad I heard a huge crunch and asked what the hell was that did you just chip your tooth? He ran to the bathroom and came back to then show me two of his teeth were chipped. The manager on duty Amanda was no help at all. I asked for the owners number or email and she wouldn’t provide it. Our whole night was ruined and he now needs to figure out what to do with his teeth and how pay for it.
