This has been our typical order as she has a sensitivity to onions and the rice is the only item that sits with her. Me, I love their burritos. Today however the service took a turn for the worst at this location. They scoped a couple of spoonfuls rice into the bowl as usual, but there seems to be an issue when we tried to pay for our meals. Two staff members were reviewing something on the cash screen, when a third came from the back. She spoke in a whisper to one of the servers and then we told she was charging us $6.44 for two scoops of rice. My wife spoke up and said, are you sure it’s always been $2. “Sorry but I’ve been told indeed to charge you for 3 side orders.” We asked are you sure and was told yes. We left leaving both the rice and my burrito. We have no issues paying for the rice and but I’m not paying $6.44 for 2 spoonfuls of rice when I can order extra at no charge on my burrito. Sorry Chipotle but you’ve lost a loyal customer. Lots of options out there that offer great service and are Canadian companies.

I saw one of them give a white guy a bowl so full it was almost overflowing, but when it was my turn, she gave me a small portion. I was honestly so surprised. Lol 😂
