  Had such a good time playing games with my bf and we went on a Thursday, excited to have Happy Hour drinks at 4pm. The menus and online say that Happy Hour is Mon-Fri 4pm-7pm and Sun-Thurs 10pm-close. So I’m confused how the bartender girl told us Happy Hour is Mon and Fri only at 4pm-7pm and Sun and Thurs only is 10pm to close. Even when I pointed out there is a dash between Mon-Thurs for 4pm-7pm she says they should really change that to a plus sign since it is only those 2 days?? Like what???😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Thanks for nothing on the Bar service?! Confused.

  I just want to take a moment and say wow! My kids and I recently went here and all my kids and i keep thinking of is how much of a great time we had. The atmosphere here was great and the game. But mainly, just a hugeeee shout out to this lovely lady, i believe her name was Taijah. Such a wonderful person, my kids love her and really made my kids night. Her hospitality was beyond impeccable, we will definitely be returning back and hopefully see and have her every time

  Dave and Buster’s Oakville location is a place you must experience on a night out. My husband and I ended up at Dave & Buster’s after watching a movie within the complex. We had dinner and drinks, the food was amazing Taijah one of the Manager came over to our table and introduced herself to us. She made sure we were comfortable with the food and drinks. Her service and hospitality was impeccable. Thank you for a great night out , we will definitely return soon for another visit.

  We had such a great experience at Dave & Buster’s Oakville, and a huge part of that was our server Mara. She was incredibly attentive and took my allergy concerns seriously. Going above and beyond to make sure my food was safe. She was super knowledgeable and gave us plenty of helpful details about hosting a birthday party at Dave & Busters. Mara made the entire experience smooth, fun, and memorable. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d happily ask for her again!

  Unfortunately, my experience with Dave and Buster's wasn't great. I have reached out well in advance to host my birthday party there, and was put in contact with their event planner. We went through the day, time, number of guests, and their packages. Original plan was to get 2 platters and 10 power cards with unlimited video game add-on. I signed the contract, and made a deposit. As people started to confirm, I reached out to the event planner, added another platter and 5 more cards. I have signed the new contract, but reached out to the planner with the adjustment of the time for serving the platter. Everything was confirmed and good to go. The day of the event was really horrible. I was running late, but luckily some of my friends were seated at our table. As soon as I walk in and mention my name, the host told us that we have to wait until the table was ready? Which was confusing because my guests texted me prior to that saying that they are already at the table. To me it seemed like the staff did not know what was going on or did not check properly. Once we got to the table, it took a while for the manager to come and confirm the contract, I went over it, but did not notice right away that they changed the number of power cards from 15 to 24, I guess that's on me, but I never mentioned to increase the amount of cards, just the final head count. So there goes another $180. I told the manager that the platters should be on their way (event was booked for 7pm, platters for 7:30pm) because people were arriving. Unfortunately, it took them past 8pm to serve the platters and I had to keep telling my guests that it's coming so they wouldn't order extra food. My guests were getting hungry at that point, because keep in mind they were informed that there will be food served. We had only ONE server assigned to our table. She took a really long time to get to us and get our drinks order. We asked for water and only got 2 pitchers for the table of 22 people. Some of my guests didn't even get their drinks until they pretty much had to leave. Some of my guests had to go to the bar because it was quicker. We had to flag down our server a few times by different people just to get more water. I had to keep apologizing to my guests because it really looked BAD. Some of the guests waited a long time for their actual food order, the only thing that was saving this situation was having some food from the platters we got earlier. Most of my guests were frustrated, and I just told them to take the power cards and play some games since it was taking a long time for food and drinks. To summarize, service was horrible. Food was good, but I don't think it was worth waiting for a long time. And on top of that, one of the guests never got her drink. She ordered pop! Not even an alcoholic drink. So I'm not sure how hard it is to serve that. I will never again book another event at Dave and Buster's, just maybe go there for the games. Because you have lots of options, even though you do get some broken ones or the ones that charge you but won't let you play. I had higher expectations because they have event planners, so you would expect better service and better communication. Little update: The support link takes you to the US site, no complaints can be submitted from Canadian side. I am not spending a long time on the phone for this. Sorry :)
