They were offering Thanksgiving specials, featuring rotisserie chicken or ribs with stuffing and a slice of pie. My partner and I decided to go off-menu and ordered the chicken wings instead (because let’s be honest, my go-to for rotisserie chicken these days is from a Portuguese churrasqueira). The rest of my family went classic - quarter chickens, ribs, and sides like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and fries. Each dish came with that signature Swiss Chalet sauce, except for the wings. And yes, every table still gets the nostalgic bowl of lemon water for finger-cleaning - some traditions never change! Now for dessert — the Coconut Cream Pie was just as I remembered it: creamy, fluffy, buttery, with the perfect hint of coconut and a perfectly flakey pastry crust. Others at the table had apple pie with vanilla ice cream, which they also loved. But the real star of our Thanksgiving meal was Andrew, our server. He was an absolute rockstar - so kind, friendly, and incredibly efficient. His warm service really made our visit memorable.
