  I’ve only ordered from this location a handful of times but don’t think I’ll try again. I usually order the vegan pad see ew, and every single time they have put eggs in it. Being vegetarian I would still eat it and try to pick around it, but who knows if they bother to use the vegan sauce over the regular sauce either (which would not be even be suitable for vegetarians as the regular sauce has fish ingredients). There are barely any vegetables included, even when you pay for extra broccoli. I typically ask for extra sauce, but again, never usually follow instructions. The noodles end up just clumping together and unpleasant to eat. The location at Green Lane is much better. If ordering through a food delivery service make sure to choose the other location if possible.

  Visited on Jan 27th, 2026, around 12:00p–12:15p. I ordered a Pad Thai and immediately noticed the line cook was not wearing any hairnet or hair restraint. Unfortunately, my suspicion was confirmed when I found a hair in my food halfway through (see photo). While I appreciate that the cashier refunded my money, I was shocked by her response when I pointed out the lack of hairnets. She told me it is "not compulsory." This is dangerously incorrect. Under Ontario Regulation 493/17 (Food Premises), Section 33, every food handler must take reasonable precautions—including wearing hair restraints—to ensure food is not contaminated by hair. This is a mandatory health standard for York Region. A refund doesn't fix a fundamental lack of food safety training. I’ve reported this to York Region Public Health to ensure proper standards are met. Why the Cashier is Wrong • The Law: Ontario Regulation 493/17 requires "every food handler" to take precautions against hair contamination. • Best Practice: In high-volume kitchens like Thai Express, "reasonable precautions" are interpreted by inspectors as wearing hairnets, caps, or snoods. • Enforcement: Public Health Inspectors specifically look for hair restraints during their routine and complaint-based inspections.

  there was an error w my post so editing - placed an order online last week, went to pick up and they were closed. called Saturday and they were great to help get the refund processed and even offered to make my order for me.
