- LWLuc WilliamsonApr 21, 20261.0I just ordered the new Batter Platter at this location. Except , that's not what they call it. They call it a Seafood Platter, with shrimp and fish. The shrimp are 80% greasy, slimy batter. I found myself peeling them to find something edible. The fish was buried in batter, if you can find it after opening up the grease walls. I expected much better-not much batter. If you want to listen to your stomach all night, buy this! Before I threw it out, I suddenly realized this dish was worse than anything MacDonalds could produce at three times the price point! I go here often. The Harvey's side is excellent, so is the chicken side. The service is mostly excellent....deduct one star this time for not warning me. But Swiss Chalet should go nowhere near fish or shrimp. Actually, who in their right mind would go to Swiss Chalet for seafood? I must have lost mine temporarily...
