I work as a crew member at another McDonald’s store, and I visited this location expecting the same level of professionalism and respect that we are trained to show customers every day. Unfortunately, the service I received was extremely poor and unprofessional. When I arrived at window, the manager on duty refused to take my order. I politely explained that I work at another McDonald’s location and that I had a valid code to use, but the manager completely dismissed me and refused to process the order. There was no proper explanation given, and the attitude was very rude and dismissive. As someone who works for the same company, I understand the importance of customer service and treating every guest with respect. Even if there was a policy issue, the situation could have been handled politely and explained properly. Instead, the manager chose to refuse service without showing any effort to help or clarify the situation. This experience was frustrating and embarrassing, especially because I know the standards McDonald’s expects from its employees. Managers are supposed to lead by example, and this interaction did not reflect the brand’s values at all. I hope this location takes customer service more seriously and ensures that managers are trained to handle situations professionally and respectfully in the future.
