Visited tonight, Robin the host made sure we got table we asked for, put the game on we asked for, made sure we were well taken care of, well done. Michelle our server was also attentive, came around and checked on us, asked how food was. Food was good, host and wait staff even better. Will return again.

The food needs a quick reality check.
I get it. Prices are up everywhere. Inflation is real. But that doesn’t mean the kitchen gets to audition for a magic show.
Let’s start with the “pepper calamari.” What arrived felt like a deep fried vegetable support group with a few pieces of actual calamari hiding in the corner. I kept digging like it was a treasure hunt. Am I paying for calamari or sponsoring a tempura garden?
Then the beet and goat cheese salad. This was not a beet salad. This was a lettuce convention with a few beets sprinkled on top like they showed up late and didn’t want attention. If it’s mostly lettuce, just say it. No need for menu fiction.
Now the steak. Ordered medium rare. What showed up was somehow undercooked and cold. Not rare. Not medium rare. Just… confused.
And the eggs that came with it. One looked perfectly fine. The other had clearly seen better days and was strategically hidden underneath like a bad decision. That’s not plating. That’s concealment.
Overall, it feels like the kitchen is trying to stretch ingredients and hope no one notices. Unfortunately, we all have eyes.
Stop being clever. Start being honest.

We had a great experience at Kelsey’s! Our server Marissa!!!! (ASK FOR HER) was amazing super friendly, attentive, and just overall provided excellent service from start to finish. She checked in at the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a positive attitude that made the whole experience even better. There was a small issue with my chicken sandwich definitely not the cook’s fault, just bad luck with one of the pieces of chicken I got. The way Marissa and her manager handled it was honestly impressive. Everything was dealt with quickly and professionally even though they were extremely busy she went above and beyond to make it right. You can tell she really cares about her customers. We’ll definitely be back!
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Kelsey's location. From walking in and sitting down to the end of our time there it was horrible. Terrible server and incompetent manager. Their food prices skyrocketed while quality and portion sizes went down significantly. Our food was overcooked and dry, very little sauce, not enough side to even finish a small amount of meat. Would never go back to this location and honesty maybe not Kelseys in general as their costumer service hasn't done anything to make things right either. Very few have good standards anymore, provide awful food, take your money and rush you out the door for their next victims, next! 1 star is being generous.
I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse. My friends and I come here regularly it’s kind of our monthly spot so this visit was especially frustrating.
Right from the moment we walked in, the experience was off. The host greeted us with a very unfriendly attitude and didn’t seem happy to be there at all. I politely asked if we could sit at one of the booths (there were at least three empty), and she immediately said they were “reserved” in a rude tone and sat us at a high table instead.
I do want to mention that our server herself was nice she had a smile, listened to my concerns, and was polite. However, the lack of actual service was unbelievable. We were never checked on. No one came to ask how we were doing, if we needed refills, or anything at all. I even had to get up myself to go to the bar just to get straws for our drinks. We didn’t get water, and we didn’t get the usual wet wipes either. After I complained about my steak multiple times, that’s when she finally started coming back to ask if everything was okay but by then, it was already too late.
We ordered two cheesy spinach dips and only received one. Then came the biggest issue the steak. I ordered my usual 10 oz steak, medium rare, and it was honestly terrible. The first time it came out dry and tough. I sent it back, and while I appreciated being offered sweet potato fries while waiting, the replacement steak was still wrong. It was unevenly cooked one side was okay, but the other side was extremely raw. At that point, I completely lost my appetite.
Imagine paying around $50 for a meal and not enjoying a single bite of it. On top of that, I had to wait even longer while my friends sat there waiting for me to finish eating, only for me to end up not eating at all because the steak was that bad. This was honestly the worst steak I’ve ever had.
To make things worse, I felt extremely sick later that night stomach pain and throwing up and have been in bed since. That’s very concerning when it comes to food safety.
I also noticed we weren’t the only ones having issues. Multiple tables around us were complaining about their food chicken, portions, etc. My friend ordered a steak sandwich with sweet potato fries and got barely a handful of fries (maybe around 10), which is unacceptable.
I understand restaurants get busy, but that’s not an excuse. Staff should be trained to manage busy environments, check on tables, and ensure food is prepared properly especially something like steak where doneness matters.
This was my first truly bad experience here, but unfortunately it was enough. I will not be returning to this location. Very disappointed in both the staff and management.
