When we sat down to eat, my friend realized after one bite that her “veg” taco meal was actually chicken. For someone who is vegetarian for personal and emotional reasons, this is a serious issue, it’s not just a wrong item, it’s a violation of trust and sentiment. When I went back, all I got was a simple “sorry” and an offer to replace it with a veg taco, but the damage was already done. A replacement doesn’t undo the fact that a vegetarian was served meat. This kind of carelessness can genuinely hurt people’s beliefs and dietary restrictions. Staff need better attention to detail, especially when it comes to dietary preferences. Very disappointed with this experience.
