The food was very delightful and the customer service was top notch. I felt at home when I went here. There were this one worker who was very cheerful and energetic, I would've spoke to a manager if I could on her excellent service. Would definitely come again

I have a nostalgic memory of Swiss Chalet’s Rotisserie chicken on a Bun. So I thought I would have it today. It was terrible! I watched the cook ball up the chicken into a ball, and put it on a stale bun. The French fries had been sitting under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Their signature dipping sauce was way too thick, and poured from the spout of a hot water coffee urn. The pickle was dehydrated and looked like it had been in the cold table for a dog’s age! Pet peeve of mine if you’re not busy(which they weren’t) do not keep fries under a heat lamp, I want my fry’s screaming hot, fresh from the fryer. I paid $19 and change for this horrible meal. Now I remember why I started making my own Swiss chalet at home! Never again
On the other hand I have eaten at the Harvey’s side of this restaurant in the past, and it has always been good!

This location is geared more for Take-out orders. The restaurant needs a good clean! Tables, floor, seats all need a good wipe etc. The food was good but eating bbq chicken with small wooden utensils was difficult and not a selling feature of eating in! The coffee was good, the young poeple serving and working there were nice polite and considerate. For the money paid for our meals, its best spent at a real Swiss Chalet restaurant not the location at Credit Landing in Port Credit. The items in the photo on the menu of the bigger meal as you walk in looks better than what you really get as its a meal for 2 and they only give you 1 dessert to share plus they consider fries as a side dish. So really you only get the chicken a bun and sauce as the meal, which is expensive although you get to choose 2 sides...but the food was over all tasty and ok. I may not be the best example for eating out as I haven't done a lot of it and remember how it was in the past vs these days?! But the bottom line is this...it costs $10.00 for a small bun, $10.00 for a piece of chicken, and $10.00 for a small container of sauce. Drink is extra. But at least you can choose 2 sides as a special! As I see it! Bring your own cutlery! You have to ask for condiments, salt pepper and decent napkins. I still feel that fries or rice should not be considered a side when ordering a full meal!
