  The place was clean, quiet, and the service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the mixed mandi was disappointing. It didn’t taste authentic — it honestly felt like eating boiled chicken, lamb, and plain rice. The chicken wasn’t good, the lamb lacked flavor, and the rice was bland. For $50, it wasn’t worth the price. Just sharing my honest experience. Thank you.

  The mandi was a bit dry for me. Tried the lamb. Wasnt as flavorful and juicy as ive had at other places. The sauces are really small quantity. The complimentary lentil soup is good

  This has been my go-to mandi place and I visit regularly, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I came in person to place an iftar takeout order. While I was ordering, the staff member assisting me was interrupted by a middle-aged man who took over and seemed rushed and dismissive. He was handling phone orders while customers were standing in front of him, which created confusion and felt disrespectful. I clearly asked for 3 beef samosas, but he entered 2 beef and 1 chicken. Even after I pointed it out, he didn’t correct it and proceeded to payment, prompting for a tip. Another staff member (with glasses) made me wait about 20 minutes even though my order was already packed and sitting on the rack. When I finally received the food, the almonds and raisins I requested on the side were missing. The food remains good, which is why I kept coming back, but customer service needs serious attention. Please treat walk-in customers with the same respect as phone orders and improve coordination during busy Ramadan hours. If this is how the experience will be going forward, I will not be visiting again and will not recommend this place to others. Update: The owner previously responded asking me to email them to resolve the issue. I did so, but received no response. Their public reply has since been removed, and my concerns remain unresolved.

  I had a dine in experience. The food is exemplary. Extremely flavorful and well-cooked. The service is ok however I did have to remind the waiter of some missing items. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that the place is crammed. The owners are trying to maximize the number of tables and customers in a tight place tha just does not support that many people. It is extremely inconvenient. The lanes between the tables are tight. Will I come back ? Yes the food makes up for the lack of comfort. It is a must try Yemeni traditional food experience.

  Yummy😋🤩Amazing Yemeni food and great experience! The chicken was very juicy, the meat was tender and full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and the portion sizes are generous. Friendly service and clean place. Definitely recommend this restaurant and I will come back again 💯👌
