    We were very disappointed with our experience this evening. It had been some time since our last visit (likely September 2025), and unfortunately the quality has declined significantly. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold so much so that my husband and I kept our winter jackets and his toque on throughout the meal which made it difficult to enjoy our food. Additionally, the food quality was noticeably poorer than during our previous visits. The only positive aspect of our experience was our server, Michaela, who was excellent, very attentive and professional, and she did her best to make the situation more pleasant. Regrettably, due to the temperature and overall decline in quality, we do not plan to return. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues for future guests.We were very disappointed and we will not be recommending this place to anyone we know.

    Very bad experience. The pasta was terrible – extremely heavy and dry, it was hard to even swallow. The taste was below average and completely disappointing. The plates looked unhygienic, old and scratched. They really need to change their plates and focus on cleanliness. The pizza was also average, nothing special at all. Overall, poor food quality, bad presentation, and lack of hygiene. Not recommended.

    I have been coming to East Side Mario's for years. The staff are always welcoming and hardworking. The meal portions are good and the food quality is consistent when I visit. Staff are well informed about the dishes. The prices are affordable. I see individuals, couples and families here celebrating and enjoying the food. Jeff was my server today and he seated me when I arrived. He made me feel welcomed and was prompt and efficient. My food arrived as ordered and timed well. Will visit again.

    This franchise is generally known for hearty food and excellent service—a balance I’ve experienced at other locations. Unfortunately, this location missed the mark on both fronts. The food was mostly meh. Several items tasted like they had been reheated rather than freshly prepared, which was disappointing. The only exception was the pizza, which was fresh, rich, and full of flavor—easily the highlight of the meal. The restaurant itself wasn’t busy; there were many empty tables, yet the staff was noticeably behind in clearing and resetting tables, which created an unnecessary sense of disorganization. The biggest issue, however, was cleanliness—particularly the washroom. It was atrocious. Dirt and debris from outside were present, the doors were awkwardly forced open, offering no privacy as people walked by, and the urinals were smelly and visibly full, as if they were broken or not maintained at all. This alone significantly impacted the overall experience. Overall, this visit was not a good experience. For a franchise that typically prides itself on service and consistency, this location fell well short of expectations.

    Worst place to celebrate a kids Birthday. Worst experience of lifetime . I celebrated my child birthday and it was worst birthday ever . The reservation was done 3 weeks earlier and they were not prepared . Kids sitting for 15- 20 mins no one came to take the order . When the server came to take the order the chef forgot to make half the order so some kids were eating and some had to wait another 15-20 mins . Worst service Worst food . So disappointed. Kids were starving . Will never visit this location again . So now time to cut the cake . No server came to clear the table . Gosh my patience were tested . I kept calm so my child can enjoy his birthday . He cut the cake on the dirty table and the next day I had to go through the embarrassment from the parents answering the arrangement was so bad kids went back unhappy . What a Shame . I paid 20% gratuity and 13% tax on the bill . Disgusting place . Never will visit again 👎 Shoutout to the owner . The most inexperienced manager who does-not know how to manage the restaurant the guests . I can never forget the embarrassment i have faced with the parents and my child can never forget the worst bday treat ever. The most unprofessional and unorganised restaurant ever been to . Toxic behaviour and toxic food 0/10👎👎👎 Shame on you guys 👎👎👎
