- AAAmandaFeb 23, 20265.0I've been to the Thai Express at Markville Mall several times now, and it never disappoints! Despite being a busy food court location, they consistently serve up fresh and flavourful dishes.The Pad Thai is always well-balanced with the perfect amount of sauce, fresh bean sprouts, and your choice of protein. The portion size is generous and filling . Fast service - even when there's a lineup, the cooks work efficiently at the woks and get your food out quickly. Customizable spice level - you can ask for mild, medium, or hot depending on your preference. Fresh ingredients - the vegetables always taste crisp and the noodles are cooked just right. My usual order: Chicken Pad Thai with spring rolls. The staff are generally friendly and patient when taking orders. For quick, satisfying Thai food in the middle of a shopping trip, this spot is hard to beat. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

I ordered the lunch promo: Thai basil stir-fried pork with a fried egg, plus a choice of spring roll or drink, for $13.88 before tax. What I received, however, was just pork slices in some kind of sauce - I honestly don’t know what it was, but it definitely wasn’t Thai basil pork. Please don’t bother replying to this review with a generic response. Head office really needs to do better quality control across its franchises. I’ve tried other Thai Express locations before, and the food is often low quality with very meagre ingredients. I should’ve known better when there was no lineup during a normally busy time.
