  I was served at the drive through, by Melissa at 3:09 pm today. I ordered a 1/4 dinner. I was not advised of the price but gave her a $20 bill. I assumed it was enough. When she provided me my meal and I asked if there was change. She insisted she gave me the change. Said she emptied her change for me. She did not. She challenged me that she gave it to me. I still wasn’t told the price of my meal. It was less than $2.00 change so I told her to keep it! When I got home there was only a Chk 5417 # on my bill. Still not amount given for the meal. No charges shown. I wasn’t arguing with her for the change, but I will still have no idea, even with the receipt on the bag, the cost of the meal. No cost, receipt or change given. Very unusual, and disappointing.

  I’ve tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the service here seems to be getting worse. Months ago there was bandaid in my poutine. They apologized and sent me a new meal with dessert. Each order since has had one thing or another missing. Wish I would have learned my lesson the first time.

  Called for an order at 6:07. Was told 15 mins. Still waiting here and it’s 6:55. The food is never ready on time. The nice lady told me a few mins 15 mins ago while skip and uber orders are being prioritized first. I keep giving this place a chance but idk if I can keep sitting for 40 mins waiting for food that never seems to be ready. The staff are really nice and I know it’s not normally their fault. Next time tell me 45 mins and not 15…

  always a great experience for me and my kids. I bring my boys out for dinner frequently on Wednesdays to save some money. I am a single dad of two boys and I appreciate that Swiss Chalet has free meals for kids on Wednesday, with an order of an adult entre. It saves me money and I can have a quality sit down dinner with my boys that a cherish very much. The service is almost always fast and the server's are always great with me and my kids. I loved coming to Swiss Chalet when I was a kid with my mom, and now I can build memories with my own kids, at one of my favourite restaurants.

  Came in and ordered half ribs meal with a garlic loaf. Lady at the counter was obviously new and was doing her best. Finally got my order and I'm glad I step to the side and checked it cause I was missing the garlic loaf. Went back to counter and they said "ohh it was in a different ticket.". Had to wait a few more mins for the loaf. When I got home and opened my meal, the ribs were so well done that they were almost all black. There was not taste of sauce because of this.
