    Firstly, the food temperature, taste, and presentation was great! The portion was smaller than expected. Three of us had the festive special and the quarter chickens were quite small in comparison to what we've had in the past. Secondly, the service was extremely poor the server made forced conversation in hopes for a tip but was evidently hating every moment of the duration of our mealtime; I can't speak outside of that timeframe. I can understand having a bad day, but that doesn't justify making the costomer feel uncomfortable with the fact that you clearly don't want to be there. I had several gift cards and the server just handed me the the debit machine and left abruptly, no explanation on how to charge the gift cards whatsoever. When the server arrived back to our table she glared at me with annoyance because I was taking a substantial amount of time with the machine ONLY because I was trying to figure it out independently. Even when I was clearly struggling, she did not offer any support or assistance, which is frankly inconsiderate and downright rude. I tipped only because I know that tips are split with the cooks and they deserve credit when servers can't deliver appropriate customer service. Lastly, overall I would consider going back but I will never accept this servers lack of service again.

    Extremely Slow service in an empty restaurant. Asked for a drink and a water never got the water after asking a second time came back 25 minutes later to ask which type of meat I’d like. it was also Wednesday kids eat free and they charge for the kids meal and I didn’t notice till I got home. After waiting the food sucked. Zero out of 10 Swiss chalet has gone to shit. Wont be going back

    My mom and I went to Swiss Chalet for dinner tonight (Highbury Ave N, London) and our server, Serenity, totally crushed it! She was so friendly and on the ball - seriously, if there were an Olympic event for great service, she’d take gold. Our drinks never ran dry, the fries were perfectly crispy, and she somehow made dinner feel like we were hanging out with a friend. Someone give Serenity a raise (or at least extra Chalet Sauce)!

    If I could leave a no star review I would. After ordering Swiss chalet off of uber eats, our driver waited two hours for the food. We were communicating with eachother the whole time. After about 50 mins he asked to speak to the manager, which the manager told him they would make it fresh for us. I also called and spoke with someone who said she would check on our order and left me on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. Now I can take sympathy on a restaurant being busy , and waiting , these things happen. However when we received our food everything was extremely undercooked. It was disgusting ! I will never order from here again! Extremely disappointed.

    My wife and I attended the London North Highbury Ave location today (Nov 1 2025) at approx 1:20pm. We waited to be seated for approx 10 minutes. After we were seated we waited for another at least 20 minutes before the waitstaff came to take our drink order. Of course having had 20 minutes, we knew what we wanted so placed our food order as well. It was at least another 15 minutes before our drinks were brought to us. At 2:15pm, we decided that we no longer wished to wait for our food that as yet had still not arrived, so I got our 'waitresses' attention and let her know after waiting for at least 45 minutes, we were leaving. It was NOT busy in the restaurant. There was ONE table with 5 adults and 2 little kids, and a table of 3 that was there when we were seated. Then my wife and I, as well as 3 other tables of 2. The first of those was seated after my wife and I, and they had their drinks and food well before my wife and I had our drinks. Another table of 2 was seated beside us and they were getting the same lack of service we were. The last table of 2 was seated at least half an hour after we were, and they too were eating and we had not seen, let alone heard from our 'waitress.' So after waiting for almost an hour and still not having our food in front of us, I got our 'waitresses' attention and let her know we were leaving. THAT is when she told us our food was coming up shortly. I told her we'd been there for at least 45 minutes, and we were leaving, and that is what we did. We're now home eating PIZZA instead. Having formerly worked in the industry doing everything from being an assistant manager of a restaurant to being a chef for 12 of the 15 years I worked in that field, that is BY FAR the worst service I have ever witnessed, let alone suffered through. Completely guessing, but I'd be willing to bet that kitchen was NOT prepared for service today after last night, and that those waitstaff on today were not properly trained to inform the clients who may have come in, that there might be a delay in their order and why. Just reopened, but if that's the service your clients can expect, you won't be open long!!!
