I placed a Buy One Get One Free order from the Subway location at 1030 Adelaide Street North, London, Ontario at 7:24 PM on 24 February 2026 and received the delivery at 7:56 PM.
While placing my order, I specifically selected certain customizations. I requested less lettuce, green peppers, and tomatoes, and more olives, banana peppers, pickles, and cucumbers.
However, when I opened my order, I received only a small amount of lettuce, one slice of tomato, two slices of cucumber, two banana peppers, and two olives in a footlong sandwich. This does not reflect the “more” options I selected while ordering.
I called the restaurant to verify whether I had received the correct order. The staff member who answered initially told me they were busy and asked me to call back later. When I explained the issue, she stated that because it was a Buy One Get One Free offer, I would only receive limited toppings. If that is the case, it should be clearly mentioned in the promotion. Customers should not receive reduced portions simply because it is part of a promotional offer.
She then mentioned that some items were out of stock, which is why they were missing. However, I had selected additional quantities of olives, pickles, and banana peppers — items that were clearly in stock — yet only two pieces of each were included.
Additionally, the staff member did not apologize and disconnected the call. When I tried calling back multiple times, my calls were either disconnected or placed on hold and then ended without resolution.
I am very disappointed with both the food quality and the customer service experience. The interaction was unprofessional and discourteous. I hope this matter can be addressed appropriately so other customers do not face a similar experience.
