Completely Unacceptable — Management & Corporate Need to See This
Order #543 – London Highbury McDonald’s
This was an absolutely unacceptable experience, made even worse by the fact that it happened on Christmas night.
Your team forgot an entire burger in our drive-thru order. Not a sauce, not fries — a full burger. When we called to report the mistake, the response from the employee Mackenna was dismissive and careless. We were told we had to come back immediately or nothing could be done. No flexibility. No apology worth mentioning. No attempt to help.
Let me be very clear: your mistake should not become the customer’s problem.
It was already 9:30 PM on Christmas night, and because of your error, one person in our group went hungry. Being told to drive back out late on a holiday just to fix your mistake is unacceptable customer service.
To make it even worse, the only “solution” offered was a coupon to be mailed out — during a Canada Post strike, with no timeline and no guarantee. So not only were we left without the food we paid for, but we were also expected to just wait indefinitely and hope something shows up. That’s not a solution — that’s avoiding responsibility.
This shows a serious lack of training, accountability, and basic customer care. Either staff are not being trained properly, or management simply doesn’t care. Either way, this reflects extremely poorly on this location and on McDonald’s as a brand.
Corporate and store management should absolutely review how this location handles customer complaints, because this experience was unacceptable by any standard.
Extremely disappointed. This location has lost our trust.

It's kind of disappointing that this McDonald's can't get coffees right. As a former McDonald's worker at the Ingersoll location I know that it is busy sometimes however, when it comes to a simple two coffee order and you don't listen to the customers when they say how many cream or how many sweetener they want and you just give them an extra large coffee when they ask for a 4x4 or the second coffee which is supposed to be two cream and seven sweetener (I have to say seven sweetener because they never get the proper amount) and for 2 weeks straight it's never the right amount of additives I have to say the staff here really needs to be retrained on how to do McCafe. Also, the order listings at the front pickup window are meant to be there until the customer gets their order when I see people walking by and hitting the delete order button to show that the orders are going faster even though they're not that is against corporate policy. Unfortunately the latter statement isn't solely at this location but across London. The ticket number screen is there for customers to know when their order is ready. If you can't do the orders in a timely manner then accept the consequences of mandatory retraining you're not doing the customers any favors focusing on your store numbers over your customer order quality do a better job.
Okay unfortunately I have consistently gotten orders wrong from this location so as that happens I'll note them here for management or corporate

I enjoy mcdonalds food. It's great. But somehow every time I order from this restaurant on uber eats the workers can't seem to read "Double Quarter Hamburger no cheese" on the order. The workers need to pay more attention to what they're doing. I can't eat cheese due to diet. I shouldn't have to refund my order EVERY TIME and I shouldn't have to wipe melted cheese of my burger when there shouldn't be any cheese on it to begin with. Please do better and learn to read. Very disappointed, several times.
