I go through the drive-thru, make my order, pay, and three different times they’ve charged me more than what my actual order costs. Since I just tap my phone and wait for the payment to go through, I don’t immediately check if they charged me the right amount. But a few hours later, when I check my bank account, I see they took more than they should have. I go back, make the complaint, and yeah, they refund me, but then I have to wait three to seven business days for the money to come back to my account. Once, fine; twice, whatever; but three times already is pure incompetence from this McDonald’s. It’s absurd. How is it possible that three times in one year I have to waste my time —which isn’t much, but it’s my time— going there, explaining everything again, and then waiting three to seven business days for the refund? It’s not even about the amount of money anymore, it’s just annoying that this keeps happening. I don’t know if they’re not properly trained or what the hell is going on.

And for the record, I used to work at this location so I know this is something they hold a high standard to. I’m calling the location tomorrow to get this sorted out but for this to be the quality we get I definitely expect some sort of compensation or replacement for the items and the quality we paid for and didn’t receive. Very disappointing Kent St McDonald’s
