  Been there a few times. Unless it's a week day at night, service is a little slow, but I’ve seen worse. Slow for someone to greet us and also slow for a server to come after we seat. Tables and seats are dirty sometimes, like other reviewers have pointed out. The servers are polite and always tend to our special requests, but I don’t appreciate how they are so eager to take our plates out and bring the bill while we are still finishing and there's a ton of empty tables. Swiss Chalet chicken tastes like grocery store rotisserie. That can be good or bad depending on your preference. The wings are pretty good actually. However, the blue cheese dip is extra cost and it’s bad. It's more like a sour cream dip. It has hardly any blue cheese in it. I consider Swiss Chalet more affordable than the average pub. The atmosphere is more shifted towards family restaurant than pub. It’s a nice quiet place for dinner. 3 1/2 stars

  Good old Swiss Chalet, we’ve been to this one a couple times and the food here is consistently good, we love the atmosphere here, love the soft rock radio, and we were provided delightful service by Chris, she really took the time to make us feel welcome. We got a half rib combo and a quarter chicken meal, with chicken noodle soup and a cheesecake afterwards. Everything tasted great. Thanks for the great meal and experience!

  Val, our server was provided excellent service! My son had the quarter chicken with fries and gravy and he enjoyed it very much. My wife also had the quarter chicken as well but with the loaded bake potato. The baked potato was cold she ended up just ate a little bit of it. I did one bite of it and yes, while it was cooked, it was not hot at all! I had the quarter chicken and rib and it was delicious! However, the side coleslaw I had, I think was bad!! I had one bite and it didn’t taste right and it was slimy!!! I think there’s something wrong with the coleslaw as my stomach is hurting as I type this review 😩 Don’t eat the coleslaw!!

  Have been to Swiss Chalet at one particular location a couple of times and not times I have requested a particular seating area. The first time I was seated in what looked like a storage area complete with large chest freezers. The second was better but still not what I requested. I understand the need to balance the workload for servers but there is complete disregard for patron preferences. The food was good and the service excellent but I'm not sure I will go back to this particular location.

  Literally the worst service I’ve ever received at a Swiss Chalet. I came in with my mother and we rung the bell at the front then proceeded to wait 5 minutes. I then rung it much more loudly and someone finally came to seat us. The table was dirty. We then proceeded to wait for 15 minutes and were completely ignored by all of the wait staff. The young blonde girl made direct eye contact with me while busing a table behind my mother and didn’t say a word. This happened at 2pm January 31st. It’s very unfortunate that the servers ego was hurt so badly by me ringing a bell. I then drove to a Swiss chalet 10 minutes away @ 340 The Boardwalk. The staff were friendly and the manager/owner was even bussing tables. Completely different atmosphere like the staff actually cared. Photos from the second restaurant.
