My grandma passed away last night and the only thing that was going to cheer me up was the new happy meal toy collab. I am a huge anime fan and really wanted these Uno cards. I ordered two happy meals and they BOTH were missing the toys. I didn’t even care about the food, I really just wanted the toys to cheer me up.

Dear McDonald’s Customer Service Team, I am writing to express my concern about an incident I witnessed at one of your locations. During my visit to the McDonald’s at 100 The Boardwalk, Kitchener, ON N2N 0B1 on January 24, 2026, I observed a manager speaking to an employee in a very loud, rude, and disrespectful manner. The manager was yelling at the employee in front of customers, which was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing to witness. Regardless of the situation, this type of behavior is unprofessional and inappropriate, especially in a public setting. It reflects poorly on the work environment and on the values McDonald’s represents. I felt it was important to bring this to your attention and hope this matter will be addressed to ensure employees are treated with respect and dignity. Thank you for your time and attention. R.k.

I used to be a regular at this location, but after today’s experience, I will think twice before heading up. While the store was still fully open for business, an associate had blocked off one side of the dining area for cleaning, leaving only three tables available for the entire public. Unsurprisingly, all three tables were occupied. When I tried to pull a chair from the "blocked" section (which was being used as a makeshift barricade), the associate snapped at me and told me I couldn't enter that area. When I pointed out that there was literally nowhere else to sit, he gave me a very rude "I’m sorry" with zero effort to actually help or accommodate a paying customer. It is ridiculous to remain open for "dine-in" but provide virtually no seating just so the staff can finish cleaning early. If you don't have enough room or chairs for your customers, you shouldn't be open for sit-down service. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I visited this McDonald’s around 7:00 AM and asked for a muffin. The staff member(Punjabi person with turbon) at the counter responded very rudely, saying something like, “Didn’t you see I was back there putting muffins away? You have to wait one hour to get this.” I was polite and respectful, so the response was unnecessary and unprofessional. If an item is unavailable, that’s fine—but it should be communicated politely. Customer service matters, especially in Canada where respectful service is expected. Management should be aware of this behavior and provide better customer service training. If you need more information, feel free to contact me.
