  This use to be the best Swiss chalet in Kingston. But in the last few years the service has gotten very poor. 2 hours waiting for a take out meal

  A Thank you to the Manger Ricky! Something as small as a missing apple juice and kids chocolates was treated the same as a missing meal! He took the time to correct the order! It was a very busy night but we were given the time as if it was slow. A thank you to the staff as well!

  Last time I had Swiss chalet was over 10 years ago. Got violent food poisoning. Today was the first time again I had it, fries were at least a day old (dry and disgusting), stuffing had a bunch of weird white stuff (looked like mould) and my salad had a full lettuce heart stuffed into it and whatever this black stuff is. Ate 1/4 of the meal and tossed the rest out. Disgusting and very little care taken in the process. 0 stars if it was an option

  Dropped in at 4pm on a Sunday as we were heading back home. Ordered 3 meals; a quarter chicken with fries, double legs with fries and chicken tenders with fries.. and extra chalet sauce. We probably have Swiss Chalet 2-3 times per year (in Markham) and it's pretty standard, you know what it should look and taste like. Nothing fancy but it hits the spot for a quick sit down meal. Unfortunately, everything today was warmish except for the chicken tenders. Those were hot. It was surprising & disappointing. The fries were pale and tasted like they were kept in a warmer that wasn't quite hot enough, and therefore resulted in a tougher exterior/ texture. The couple beside us had gotten their meal before us and complained about the fries being cold and requested for hotter fries. After eating, they requested to speak to the manager. The manager asked if the couple wanted dessert on the house, which they got but also expected their entire meal to be comped. I overheard the manager explain that they waited until the end of the meal to voice their concern and could only offer them 25% off. We called our server over to let them know that ours too, wasn't hot and the manager asked us what we wanted. We just asked for 2 portions of fresh hot fries and sauce that was hotter. After the fries arrived, we lost our appetite with the delay so we ate half of the fries and asked for the rest of our meal to be packaged. When we got the bill, to my surprise, we received 25% off too. Hopefully, this was a one off for this location but it was very unfortunate. We wanted a hot meal on a chilly day before our drive home.

  Wow, I’ve been to many Swiss chalet. This is my first time going to the Kingston one here and I have to tell you the chicken was so juicy. It wasn’t dried out and overcooked. I just can’t believe how amazing it was. I’m definitely going back every time. I’m in Kingston, yeah I’m from Belleville by the way And I’ve been to many Swiss chalet. This one rocks and the staff is super friendly.!!! Mmmm rock on!!!!!
