- SPSheri PeckFeb 16, 20263.0So we had lunch at the Subways in Hastings and they had everything in stock which was wonderful except their drink machine was not working. This is the second Subway that the drink machine was not working so you were forced if you wanted to make it a combo to get the bottled drink out of the cooler. Instead of explaining that the drink machine was down and in order to get the combo you would have to pay more for the combo, the server told us to just go ahead and get a bottle drink which we did. When we sat down and we're looking at the bill, we realized again, we had been charged the higher price because we had grabbed a bottle as opposed to a refillable cup. I'm not sure if this is a trend with Subway in order to charge you more for a drink. He also indicated that Subway had been contacted about this drink cooler problem but like the other Subway where we had the same issue that nobody had shown up to fix the cooler. Although we enjoy eating at Subway, this deceitful practice is quickly souring our taste to stop there in the future.

That was the least amount of toppings I have ever seen. The bread was fresh but next to no toppings. I will be avoiding this location going forward
