Probably the worst Swiss Chalet I have ever been to. Next time I'll pick a different one even if I have to drive a bit further.

We always love Swiss chalet but yesterday for some odd reason it hit different . We came on Jan 9th at around 5:50. We were seared at the right hand side by the bathroom. Didn't know our servers name he just took our orders right away. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese , my husband ordered 8 piece wing dinner two waters and perogies to start. Food was not hot at all - gravy turned cold after a few bites and slow service . Idk what's going on with Swiss chalet but pls do better. We lov coming here but maybe hire more staff to help serve the food if the server is busy.

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an experience I had during a recent lunch visit with two clients who are autistic and non-verbal, communicating through vocalizations. Upon arrival, we clearly requested seating in a quieter area to help accommodate their needs, which was granted. During our meal, one client began making vocal sounds. A staff member who appeared to be a manager approached us and stated that the noise was “too loud” and asked that it be kept down. This interaction made us feel unwelcome and implied that we were being asked to leave, despite having already communicated our need for accommodations. Later, the same staff member stated that the client was “too much,” a comment that was inappropriate and deeply concerning. While the food was brought out promptly and we were offered chocolate upon leaving, these gestures did not offset the discomfort caused by the staff interaction. Additionally, several patrons openly stared at my client, whose disability is visible, further contributing to an unwelcoming environment. I am bringing this to your attention because individuals with disabilities are entitled to dignity, respect, and reasonable accommodation in public spaces. I strongly encourage your team to provide additional training on disability awareness and inclusive customer service to prevent similar experiences in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to meaningful improvements so that all patrons can feel welcome and respected. Thank you Zeb and Marie for making this quite the experience

I visited for lunch with two clients who are autistic. Both are non-verbal and communicate through vocalizations. Upon arrival, we respectfully requested seating in a quieter back corner to help accommodate their needs. While seated, one client began making vocal noises. A staff member who appeared to be a manager approached us and stated that it was “too loud” and asked that the noise be kept down, which made us feel unwelcome and as though we were being asked to leave — despite having already requested accommodations. To be fair, the food was brought out quickly, which we appreciated, and we were kindly offered chocolate upon leaving. However, it was very uncomfortable that several patrons stared at my client with a visible disability during the experience. I hope in the future there can be more understanding, patience, and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities and those who support them. Everyone deserves to feel welcome in public spaces.
