- TFTruth and Facts5 days ago3.0Food was a let down. Really would have enjoyed my food more if I went to Kelseys or East Side Mario's. We got the new sushi and steak on the menu and couldn't even eat the sushi because it was so crunchy. We told the waitress at the end but it was not even discounted. The mashed potatoes I got with my Cajun chicken tasted like boxed mashed potatoes. The gravy I got on the side was gross, again tasted like a can. The chicken was okay but overall after that experience I wouldn't go back. Between the two meals one thing on the plate was a 7 out of 10 which was the steak, the rest was 0 or 3 out of a 10. Again waitress was aware--- nothing was done.

She was kind, attentive and incredibly warm while serving us tonight. Her service is truly, truly unmatched! Especially because I don’t go out often and for my birthday I couldn’t have asked for a better person to host. Abbie was not only on top of every dirty plate, empty drink, and meal needed. She delivered all services with care and listened to what me and my sister needed. This was my first experience at State & Main and I have to say I will absolutely be coming back. This has now become one of my favourite places to eat. Thank you Abbie for your wonderful hospitality!!!
