- ALAmanda Labatt2 days ago5.0I normally don’t do this but… Absolutely unacceptable experience at Subway (Livingston Ave- Grimsby). I placed an online order with Subway that was processed but never received by the location, yet the money was still taken out of my account. Instead of fixing their mistake, I was told I had to wait 24 hours for a refund. Customer service was beyond terrible. They refused to remake my sub, wouldn’t offer a credit, and basically shrugged and said there was “nothing they could do” except make me wait. No apology, no accountability, and no effort whatsoever to fix the issue or make it right. Not to mention the owner stated “this happens regularly and that they can’t do anything about it”. So they’ve known about this issue and really don’t care. Mistakes happen but how a business handles them matters. Subway completely failed. I left frustrated, and out of pocket while they acted like it wasn’t their problem. I will never eat here again and strongly suggest others think twice before ordering online.
