    Around 3:50 today I bought a medium Coke at this location from a young lady with black hair at one of the registers. She took my order and I paid but she didn’t give me a receipt she just told me to stand to the left of the counter to get my drink. About 5-10 minutes had gone past and there were 3 people that had ordered after me that had already gotten their drinks before I did. So I went back up to the counter and asked a different cashier an older lady with black hair and glasses how much longer for my medium Coke. This second cashier asked me if I had ordered already and I responded that I had. So she asked for my receipt. I told her that her coworker who was standing next to her never gave me a receipt. So the second cashier asked the one that took my order if she had served me. The cashier that took my order and watched me pay said that she didn’t serve me and I hadn’t paid yet. I was very confused as to why she would lie when she had served me not more than 10 minutes before. So I pulled out my phone to show them on my banking app that I had in fact just paid $3.15 for a medium Coke. The second cashier with the glasses immediately got me medium Coke after I showed them my app. I am very upset with the level of service I received. It was a humiliating and embarrassing experience having to pull out my banking app in front of other staff and customers after the cashier lied and said she never served me. I have been a long time customer at this location since I have worked at the mall for several years now. Safe to say after this experience I won’t be coming back.

    Very disappointing experience at this McDonald’s location. Service is consistently slow, staff seem unfriendly, and communication with the cashier was difficult during my last visit. This branch also doesn’t have self-ordering kiosks, which would likely make the service much more efficient. Overall, much worse than other McDonald’s locations.

    Sherway location: Subject: Formal Complaint – Sherway Location Horrible Treatment of Two Minors To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable treatment my 14-year-old son and his friend received at your Sherway location. On the evening of Saturday Feb 26, 2026 at approximately 6:15 PM, the boys placed and paid for their order #237. After waiting for some time without receiving their food, they approached a staff member to politely ask when their order would be ready. The young employee informed them that the order had already been called out and was “gone.” The boys explained that they had not received their food. Instead of investigating the issue or verifying the order, the employee told them that if they did not leave, security would be called. These are two 14-year-old boys who paid for their meal. They were shocked, embarrassed, and made to feel like criminals. Rather than resolving the issue properly, they felt pressured into paying again in cash to reorder their food. This situation is extremely upsetting. At no point should paying customers—especially minors—be threatened instead of assisted. Proper procedure would involve checking the receipt, verifying the order number, and ensuring the correct customer receives the correct food. If an order was mistakenly taken by someone else, that is not the fault of the customer who paid. I expect this matter to be investigated promptly. I would like: A formal explanation of what occurred A refund for the duplicated payment Assurance that staff at this location will be retrained on proper customer service procedures This experience was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. I look forward to your prompt response.
