I ordered a tuna sub, and my boyfriend politely asked if fresh tuna could be used because the tuna being served was clearly old and dried up on the side of the container, to the point that it was a different colour. The employee immediately raised his voice and said it was “policy.” We didn’t argue and kindly said to drop it and just continue making the sandwich. Despite this, he continued to bring it up repeatedly (about four times), raising his voice each time, even though we had already asked to move on. The issue wasn’t just the food quality, but the lack of professionalism and customer service. A simple explanation would have been fine, but the repeated confrontation made the situation uncomfortable and unnecessary. I hope management addresses both food freshness concerns and how staff communicate with customers.

I asked for peppers because I was picking vegetables to my sandwich (didn’t say green pepper maybe my fault) right after he asked which one and then started telling me I had to be more specific because subway handles 100 kind of peppers. I told him I understood what he explained once again. When I was about to pay he kept mentioning the peppers again making me feel like a stupid. I told him I didn’t want the subway anymore and walked away. Really bad costumer service. And he can keep his peppers 🫑
