  We were served by Arth (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly), and he was exceptional. He was attentive, personable, and truly elevated our experience. The way he described his favorite main courses — especially the salmon with pistachio — was so convincing that 3 out of 7 of us ordered it… and we all absolutely loved it. Every dish at the table was incredible, and the appetizers were just as delicious. Overall, such a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

  Absolutely amazing expirience! Staff where curious and friendly: -constant checking in -asked about allergies -small conversations -valentine's message and sparkler with dessert - comped dessert for manager due to occasion Food quality was perfect: -French dip sandwich was juicy and flavorful -steak cooked perfectly - can never go wrong with the fries and dill dip This service is how you keep and gain returning customers. Thank you thank you thank you!

  Food was good but overall dining experience was lacking. 5.30 reservation and bill was around $340 for 6 people. 1. Drinks order was quickly taken but had to wait more than 10 minutes 2. 2 people had price fixe and appetizers were prompt but mains took awhile. When they came the rest of the party had to wait - including 2 kids. This was really disappointing and your biggest failing: especially making the kids wait. If you can’t match up the meals you shouldn’t offer different options. 3. I asked how long 4 of us would have to wait for our dinner and was told that ‘we are really busy’ - that’s just insulting. Good grief, Mr. Manager, aren’t you supposed to be busy: don’t you want to make money ..? Give your staff a cheat sheet for dealing with unhappy and hungry customers - ‘I’m sorry, sir, I’ll find out what’s happened’ or ‘My apologies: let me find out’. Then they go and swing into action and come back with an answer! And that last part is really important. 4. Kids’ Menu suggests that you’re a family restaurant … you’ve got some work to do. 5. As I said, the food was good - we’ll try you again.

  Adam was an amazing server! super attentive, always came back to the table at the perfect time, it was almost uncanny :) he was so incredibly attentive to my partner's allergies, and went above and beyond, checking certain ingredients with us, making sure we were in the loop, just an amazing experience. I've been to far more "fancy" restaurants and have not has as good of an experience as this. just absolutely above and beyond. I am so thankful, he made our valentines run so smoothly :) I hope whoever is in management gives him some serious recognition, he absolutely deserves it.

  We had an amazing dinner here last night. My first time at a State and Main. We were greeted warmly and got a nice cozy booth. It’s a bit loud but has a nice vibe. Our server Brooke (I hope I got her name right) was excellent. Friendly, efficient and seemed to really care to make our dining experience memorable. I started with a craft ‘red’ beer that she recommended and it was great. I ordered the butter chicken and my mother had the teriyaki chicken dish. Both were delicious. Succulent pieces of chicken in a rich & creamy butter sauce, served on flavourful rice with warm naan bread. Delicious to the last bite. My mother’s teriyaki dish was just as good. Everyone else at our table also enjoyed their meals. Overall an excellent experience and I look forward to returning and I would highly recommend State and Main if you ever in the area.
