  This place is always great. Every time were here. Service is always on point. Always smiling, always pleasant and always there when you need them. Food is always hot and comes out pretty quick. The all you can eat soup is always very hot. Some are little more than room temp but this place is always perfect. Its one of our favourite places to go.

  We had a great experience at East Side Mario’s, and a big part of that was thanks to Erica, our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her warm attitude and excellent service really made our visit special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and Erica’s wonderful service was the highlight of our evening. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  Our server was great! Food arrived hot and on time, quality has gone down. Shrinkflation as we call it is evident. Smaller portions, more breading etc. The biggest issue I had was the wall the wall beside us. COVERED in greasy finger prints ALL over. When the light hit it, I lost my appetite. The table was sticky and heavily coated with last night's beer too. Standards are not where they should be and i was highly disgusted with the lack of cleanliness. For a Newmarket restaurant, I would have expected better. In fact I do expect better! Maybe some retraining in the cleaning department is needed?

  Jeff was fantastic!! He showed me ingredient lists to make me feel safe and comfortable that the vegan option was perfect for me! He was amazing and made the experience that much better! My significant other did not opt for the vegan options and those were amazing too!! I mean East Side Marios is normal at this point, as it is a Canadian staple but he made it the cut above! Thank you! The restaurant is clean and really you can't ask for more than that. Thanks for a speedy, fun night!

  Terrible, terrible, terrible. I just got home and I am still shaking my head. First, we left our name with the hostess and when I went up to check on our table after 20 minutes, a different hostess said our name was not on the list. While we were at the bar, we sat 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Most of that time it was not even clear if there was a bartender. There were dirty dishes on the end of the bar the whole time we sat there. Then the bartender told us that our kids shouldn’t really be sitting at the bar. Is this not a family restaurant?! The bar is in the middle of the restaurant and there was nowhere else to sit. Then we got seated and no one acknowledged our presence for 15 minutes. So, I asked the hostess to find our waitress. She did and brought bread, but no cutlery, side plates, or napkins. The waitress was nice, but obviously did not have the support she needed to do her job properly. My husband asked for a beer and it took 20 minutes, we had to ask for it a second time. They brought my husband and my food out, but our kids food was not ready yet. 🫠 I guess they don’t make their salads to order anymore, mine had obviously been sitting in its dressing. I had the ravioli, is was mushy and drowning in sauce. The BATHROOM! The door in has had at least 1000 people touch it and has not been cleaned, just a dirty build up of residue, the floor was sticky, the stalls are visibly dirty, the toilet seat was dirty, the toilets didn’t flush properly. We had to ask for our bill. I looked for the manager several times, but couldn’t find him. His staff needs help! Terrible.
