  Went for dinner after a medical treatment. It's has been at least 10 years since we've gone to an ESM restaurant. It took a minute to get waited on, but our waitress was very attentive considering she was the only one in that whole side of the restaurant and already serving a table of 4 children and 6 adults. (I hope they tipped her well). She was attending to us and one other table. Kudos to her!!! The restaurant it's self was dingy and grey, atmosphere was dead. Every table was dirty and needed the last customers dishes to be removed and table cleaned. As we were leaving 2 customers came in and had to leave and go to the other side because all tables were full of dishes. To say, I will never visit this place again, is too soon.

  Food is good. But they need more help. One waitress for full dining room during busy lunch. People waiting and frustrated. Waitress running trying to take care of everyone. Ent back after this happened months before. But no. Still the same. If you are not in a rush I guess it's all good. But another waitress please

  We had a wonderful experience at East side Mario’s! Annissa was are waitress and she is phenomenal! Very welcoming and super nice. She made sure the whole time we were enjoying our food and checking if we needed anything. I hope when we come back she will be our waitress again, I was very impressed!! Great service and meal overall:)

  Well we were pleasantly surprised as the last visit to a different east side Mario's was less then pleasant. And because they are a franchise, i was skeptical to return. We were seated in the bar area( actually quieter then the restaurant) and had the most pleasant and fun waitress( Kat) She was so attentive and made sure my friends numerous requests were met with precision and speed. We had the 50$ 2 for 1 special...a phenomenal deal in these days of high priced everything...hell, I have been out for a stupid breakfast and paid that much🤪 My friend is a sllllloooow eater and Kat ensured that the food was paced to her speed. Salad and soup and bread and more if we wanted. Pasta was good, although I find the creme sauce to be a bit too thick( but tasty) I had the chicken parm and chicken was tender and juicy. My friend had the carbonara but wasn't as impressed ( first time) I think she wanted more of a kick in the flavoring. 2 of the smaller portion desserts were also included in the meal deal, which is perfect after a hearty pasta meal. We both went home with a meal for the next day and full bellies! I will probably stick to this location for everything pasta as it sure didn't disappoint. Hang on to Kat as she is a gem!

  Today I went to East Side Mario’s Osler location with my friend. We took the all you can eat pasta deal that is available on Monday. We had to wait for some time to be seated and the waiter did not take our order for a long time. We got our bread and soup after 30 minutes and the pasta after a long time. The food was not delicious it was cold and the service was not good at all as the waitress took too long to bring our food. The restaurant was not very busy at that time. When we paid for the food the waitress said that we HAVE to pay for tips next time we come in as they have to pay for our food if we do not give tips. It did not make any sense as we paid more than 27 dollars for food that was not tasty. We did not ask for refill for the drinks nor the soup. We wanted 1 refill for the pasta only. We both are students and we would love to tip for a good service and food but when it was unsatisfactory why are we obligated to pay tips? She was extremely rude and just left as we did not pay her tips. This is a very unacceptable behaviour. I have dined in East Side Mario’s before and I never had this experience. I do not think I will go back there again and I would not recommend it to anyone as well.
