  Disclaimer: The owners of this particular Dairy Queen are genuinely lovely people. Having been a long-time customer for over 20 years, you can tell how much effort they put in to create a welcoming experience for their valued customers. This negative review reflects the behaviour of one particular employee who I had a bad experience with. What was supposed to be a simple and fun outing with a friend turned into an absolute ordeal. I had ordered a Blizzard that did not taste anything like it was advertised. In fact, it was completely bland. I calmly asked if it was possible to resolve my concern by switching flavours, which was met with refusal from the employee, who then became increasingly aggressive and confrontational. At that point, I just wanted a refund because I could tell that she was unwilling to help me find a reasonable solution. The employee told me that I had taken bites out of it and that I chose to order it, therefore I should not be allowed a refund. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt so uncomfortable that I had to call my friend, who had stepped outside for a moment, to be a witness. What she saw confirmed that none of this was imagined or exaggerated. The employee’s behaviour was inexcusable. In the end, she finally decided to make a different Blizzard for me. Another employee who was present apologized on her co-worker’s behalf, which I appreciated, however, this was met with the aggressive employee telling her not to apologize to me. Unfortunately, this employee seems to lack compassion. Just imagine being at a restaurant and receiving food that was cooked poorly or tasted terribly and being told that since you chose the meal and took a bite, that it was your fault that they couldn’t replace, modify, nor refund it. They'd be out of business in a week. I sincerely hope that management will address these concerns as the employee’s behaviour should not be allowed to speak for them and the business that they worked so hard to create.

  I was happy with the ice cream but I ordered on Uber to eat at a hospital with my wife and no spoons were sent with the order?? Hard to eat ice cream with no spoon

  I visited this Dairy Queen on Saturday, September 27 around 12:30 pm with my family. The cashier was aggressive and very impolite. First, she rudely told us it was cash only, then said there was no chocolate ice cream. Her attitude made my wife and daughter feel very uncomfortable. This was a disappointing experience — I won’t be coming back and I don’t recommend this location. I am open for any further conversation with management.
