  Wife & I feeling in the dumps on a Thursday night, needed to eat. Drove uptown to Shops and took a risk on Taylor’s Landing. Not a fan of places with screens, but were seated by the windows so we could see the night time foot traffic and Xmas tree. Shared the Gyoza & a Pizza, both were great. Amanda was very accommodating, and helped choose a good bottle of wine. The space is appropriate for large families, after work drinks or two frowns needing an upside down…wine did the job. OH and the sticky toffee for dessert was great!

  What a great surprise! We drove up from Michigan to take our aunt out to lunch for her 85th birthday. Your restaurant was nearby and being her last name was Taylor we chose Taylor’s Landing. Our waitress Udanya was very friendly and always there at the right time. Everyone’s food was great! It seemed that everyone from cooks to waitstaff enjoys their job.Well done to Taylor's Landing. Thank you for making the long drive worth it.

  We made reservations and hosted a 90th birthday party for the matriarch of our family at Taylor's Landing last Saturday night. We had over 50 people and we took up a corner of the restaurant. We were busy, we were out of our seats, we asked for extra things (can we decorate, can we bring and serve a cake, etc.) and the staff that evening did not skip a beat! Every staff member we interacted with was bright, friendly, capable, and fun! We arrived early to decorate, and they were already waiting for us. Each server introduced themselves to the planners of the evening and from that point on they were locked in and ready for whatever we needed. Our food was delicious - imagine bringing out 50 meals at around the same time! From age 9 months, 9 years to 90 years old, we were all treated with kindness and a smile. A huge thank you to Alecia, Connor, Josiah, Jay and others who made our Mom feel like the Queen we all know she is!

  Although the food was great, the portion is VERY small. I ordered gnocchi. Then I saw on the menu that you can add a protein so I added a protein. When the dish came, I literally had like 7 pieces of gnocchi and the protein. I asked for the protein on a separate plate as I wanted to ensure I was still getting a decent sized gnocchi dish which I ordered and they said sure. When they came back, sure enough, it was on one plate. My thoughts are is if you add a protein, they skimp on your dish. This is not cool at all. At least advise your customers that if you add a protein, you’ll be receiving less main. Not to mention we had 3 different servers that night. I recognize service like this and I’m not pleased. Great food though. Just very stingy.

  Came here for a quick dinner on a Sunday. We waited about 20 minutes just to be seated, then another 30 minutes before a server came to take our order and that was only after we went up to the host to ask for one. After finally ordering, we waited another 15 minutes for the chef to come out and tell us they were out of pizza dough for my order. I asked for a minute to choose something else and requested that my friend’s food be served in the meantime, but they still kept us waiting until I ordered again. When our food finally arrived, no one came to check on us. We ordered tea afterward, which came cold and without sugar or cream even after asking. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so there was really no excuse for such poor service. We’ve been loyal customers for a long time and often drive 30–40 minutes to dine here, but after this experience, we won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.
