How hard is it to literally just LISTEN to what a person orders, and then make what they ordered. When I order breakfast from here they literally never get it right.

Just visited this place and I’m genuinely impressed! The food was absolutely wonderful and fresh. On top of that, the customer service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.

Wow! This place and the ladies working in the morning of March 19, 2026 are not only unkind but racists. Never did I think in 2026 in a VERY touristy place racism and discrimination still existed. We ordered table service like we usually do near our home town or any other McDonald’s for that matter was told to pick up our order and then they huffed and puffed when my husband couldn’t carry 2 full trays by himself in one trip and reluctantly offered to help with my husband declining because of the attitude. However, they were more than ok delivering to other customers (maybe regulars and older caucasians guests). My husband is white and I am Filipino. They have no mind to the other asians in the restaurant as well. Then as I am passing by the cash to get some sanitizer bc the garbages handles were sticky from not being cleaned, they were trying to rationalize that able people should not have their food delivered to them and when I walked by she said like this one, the one on cash was like oh for sure. Why do they get to choose who gets to have their food delivered and who doesn’t if the service is being offered? And bc I am Asian what gives them the right to not treat me with exceptional guest service like they did with the other guests?

Quick little family joke to start: about 20 years ago I loved this McDonald’s so much I almost named my daughter Filiea, Until the doctor realized our last name is Fish and kindly talked us out of it. True story.
Jokes aside, the McDonald’s on 1st Street in Collingwood has become so much more than a place to grab coffee for our family. My dad has been coming here twice a day for well over a decade, and over the years the staff have truly become part of our extended family.
They remember people. They remember orders. And they always greet my dad with genuine warmth. When life has been heavy, walking in there still brings a sense of comfort. Seeing him walk through the doors in the morning and the smiles from the team who know him so well is something really special.
It’s a busy place, but the staff always take that extra moment to make people feel welcome. That care and consistency shows throughout the whole team.
We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and connection they’ve shown my dad over the years. For us, it’s more than a McDonald’s, it’s a little piece of community and routine. ❤️
