Play place is now closed at 8pm. We got there at 7:15 thinking - awesome we have a small time to play before we have an excuse to go. Parents understand. We went to sit inside with our kids and enjoy ice cream, but we immediately had a lady kick us out saying there is no food allowed. Then we were bombarded by 5 teenagers sitting inside the play structure. Sorry, my 5 yr old is not playing in there with you guys.... I went to ask the staff, if they were so worried about the rules then why are they allowed inside. Nothing was done! They were told someone complained but they were never confronted and certainly didn't leave. It is now 7:40 and he has gone down slide 3 times. Just gross.

I worked in food service for awhile I know the taste of re-fried fries. Horrible customer service and they also forgot a few things.

Redeemed 14,000 points for a free quarter pounder meal using the kiosk while upsizing fries, adding a coffee and two dips which I paid for. I was questioned by who I believe to be the female afternoon manager as to how I was able to get the quarter pounder meal for free. I explained I used my McDonald’s app points to which she had another employee review and look over the order. To which there seemed to still be some concern on how I got a “free meal”… I asked why should I have gotten more free food? The follow up response was that apparently you can use the kiosk to somehow get free food? Maybe it’s other people redeeming their points? Perhaps management should be trained on the redemption of McDonald’s app. After this uncomfortable interaction I’ll be favouring the port hope location for food and coffee from now on.

Overall it was a good experience.
Your cashier Heather, very polite lady. Very personable and easy to talk with. It was nice to bring my children inside and not feel rushed to order and was able to take my time. Heather, brought us our food, came out when the line was done and asked if we were okay. I don't see good customer service lately. So to be able to come out and feel like a person, it was great. Thank you Heather. Keep rocking it, you're doing an amazing job !
