Now to be fair, we've ate there before and had a good experience but dinner last night was the worst experience we've ever had. The service was very slow and it certainly didn't seem all that busy. We sat down almost immediately but waited at least a half hour before anyone came to our table. When a waitress finally did, she took our drink and food order inclusive of an appetizer. It was around an hour since we arrived before any food arrived at the table. When it did, 3 of the 4 of us had cold chicken. I'm talking very cold, even the gravy covering it was cold. I didn't consider the portion size generous either. Sadly, my complaint of a cold meal resulted in more gravy brought to the table to pour over the chicken but even that was only mildly warm. Obviously my complaint offended the waitress because no one came back to our table for quite some time meaning no offer of another drink and no one offered desert or a desert menu. Eventually a manager came to the table where we explained everything. Our food was discounted but it didn't change the experience despite the fact that we were there with family where I purchased them a gift card for Christmas. Personally, I'll choose a different restaurant next time.

The wings were cold and the fries were soggy. When I called to explain our experience I was put on hold which was fine and was told the general manager wasn’t in the building and that I would receive a phone call the next day. Seems like a weird way to handle the situation as now we have to figure out something else for dinner as none of the meal is edible. I hate to say it but even if they made us a new meal I wouldn’t even eat it….back home Kelsey’s is my favourite restaurant so I was happy to see they had one in Chatham but after this…I won’t be going back. Might explain how on a weekend at dinner time the restaurant was practically empty.
