  Wonderful experience at Kelsey‘s in Chatham the food was super fresh and karen Our server was super handy and very cheerful. Would recommend this Place five stars ✨

  Went here on Valentine’s Day, wow what a mistake. Service was atrocious, the hostess seating us was rude and dressed unprofessionally, the waitress was hardly at our table, didn’t even bother to stand there while we paid our bill just threw the machine down and left. We were going to order more drinks but we were hardly checked on, so didn’t have the opportunity to. The food was nasty outside of the spinach dip, literally their only redeeming quality. I’ll never be back, you couldn’t pay me. Waste of money.

  Went in with a large group. Yes, we were expecting a little bit of a wait...but not the two and a half hour "dining experience" that the Manager Elaine so rudely snarled at us when we inquired why our food hadn't come out after 1.5 hour wait. We had friends join us an hour late and they were served before any one else. There were so many excuses...too big a group, we're taking time away from her garnishing the food and wasting time, we should have known the dining experience is 2.5 hours. Keep in mind half our party were children who ordered French fries and chicken strips. One of our friends also was violently ill from the prime rib sandwich and missed watching his daughter's cheer competition.

  If I could give them a zero star I would. We made reservations in November for Jan 31 for our cheer girls. 17 people mostly kids. We got there our table was set up! Off to a great start so we thought. No menus so a mom from our party had to go get some. Not that big of deal. Waitress came over right away took our drinks and got those quickly. She took our food order and was great. An hour goes by and we still have no food. We had friends that joined us and got their food within 20 mins. We asked to speak to a manager and she came out rude as can be. She told us a party takes 2 hours at the restaurant. 2 HOURS!!! How ridiculous... At the hour mark she said they were just starting to make the food. She also told us she should be in the kitchen garnishing our meals instead of talking to us. She also said its an average of 45 minutes if its just a couple. So if you want to sit around waiting all night this is the place to go, but groups stay away!! Elaine should NOT he a manager with her customer service. Krista was a great server!

  Had a reservation for a cheer team (competition in town), around 15 of us. Arrived at 6, ordered at 6:08 (shows on receipt), no food at 7. People had ordered apps and still nothing. We asked for manager, Elaine came out, was visibly upset with us for asking to speak with her, made excuses instead of apologies. Basically made us feel stupid for being frustrated about the 1+ hour wait. Told us this is standard, 40 mins for food (had been longer) and that they provide a 2.5 hour “team experience”. I was stunned. My son plays baseball, have shown up at Kelsey’s before, whole team, no reservation and out in less time than it took to get appetizers. She then told me the food was taking long because we asked her to come out and she should be garnishing our food. So our fault. No one ever warned us we’d be there for hours when we booked or arrived. My 6 year old got her chicken strips at about 730, about 30 mins from her bed time. We put them in a box, paid our bill and left. She ate in the car on the way to the hotel. I tipped standard 15% because I feel horrible for the staff at this place, who have to work for someone whose complete lack of professionalism and accountability likely prevents them from earning tips.
