    Two things. Firstly our server wasn't having a good night as reviews I've read on here said she was a great waitress which wasn't our experience. Our appetizer hadn't come for 20 minutes. We were afraid she was going to bring the appetizer with the meal. I headed toward the kitchen to find out what was taking so long. A friendly young fella popped out to see if I needed help. I explained my problem and he put me in his competent hands. Profusely apologized, made my order a priority and satisfied my agitation. This kind and professional man was named Ethan. Great job, Ethan! My second concern was the hygiene of the female staff. While I was in the ladies washroom I saw 2 females (at separate times) rinse their hands quickly under running water then just as quickly dry them. No soap was used and no time was allowed to thoroughly wash their hands. These people touch my plate, my glass, the P.O.P machine. EEEWWWW!!! I think management should give staff a refresher on the importance of hygiene.

    Ordering at the take out counter was fine. When the young girl gave me my order it was incomplete. I paid for side order of fries but did not get my salad that was supposed to accompany my meal, After paying $26 dollars for my half chicken order I am not impressed I was not going back out after I got home to pick up my salad. Just thought I would do a review and not service this location again.

    We came in yo do a puck up on New Years Day night. It was very busy, coming into the restraunt I slipped on a piece of ice and fell half on step and half on ground. Man and women where coming out and thank u to them the helped me get up. A worker came out with 2 cups of salt ( what was that going to do ). A manager came over to me do a incident report and it's the policy to call paramedics. The manage said she would give me her name and number and asked me to call her tomorrow. Never did get the info. I guess they where to busy and forgot. I never did order for me.

    Good evening, I'm visiting with my wife Angela as we have enjoyed so many visits at this location. Tonight, the store has been overwhelmed with many customers. Our server Stacy has been so good to others and my wife and I. We appreciate the good service, and the food we order. Thank you for the staff, that know how to make us enjoy our visit and our meals. Seasons Greetings, and again, thank you for a great meal once again...

    I’ve come here before, but today I waited almost an hour to get my food even though the restaurant was half empty. I asked the server (who was very nice!) if it was busy tonight and she said yes, but also said it’s always this busy during the festive special. I would’ve appreciated being told there would be a long wait before ordering. Of two tables who arrived after mine, one was served at least ten minutes before mine (and had something wrong with a meal) and the other complained about the wait. I’m not upset at long waits but I am bothered by them when I wasn’t warned and this was a seemingly anticipated wait by Swiss Chalet, and a manager walked around a lot but never actually spoke to a table (about the delays or anything) or helped in the kitchen if that was the reason for the delay. It was confusing to see a half empty restaurant be so slow and at the same time tables are being served out of order, with wrong meals, long waits, and a manager visible at almost all times doing nothing to help the situation.
