  Sooo i was scrolling on Facebook when i got an ad for S&M for their Valentine’s Day dinner ! I figured well i might as well go as the menu looked really good ! Well it was 10000% worth it all due to the amazing support and service from our server Taylor!! (He alone is worth 5 stars) I love the genuine smile and service he gave with the conversation! He was such a delight! You see the last time I went to state and main I hated it. The idea of eatting in such a dimly lit place and drinking out of Madison jars irked. But this time I was blown away. Soo my boyfriend and I ordered (see photos): - the caesar (really good balance of crunchy and leafy bits of romaine lettuce) - the bang bang shrimp ( it was really well prepared visually but I feel like the batter was a bit undercooked? Not as crispy as I wanted it but the sauces and the serving were greaaat ) - ohh I had ask Taylor about their mocktls and I went with the RASPBERRY DRAGON FRUIT NO-JITO (raspberry purée, dragon fruit, fresh mint, lime juice & soda) ! It was pretty good too bee honest really refreshing!! For our entrees we got: - Truffle & Shrimp Rigatoni crispy prosciutto, mushrooms, parmesan w/ black truffle cream sauce (It was okay.. it was a bit simple but for someone who is looking for something with a creamy cheese texture this would be it) And he got: Honey Glazed Cajun Chicken blackened chicken breast finished w/ honey & creole butter. served w/ mashed potatoes & veggie mix (substituted) The chicken was really flavourful it worked nicely with the creamy mashed potatoes and the veggies were a nice touch of colour and garlic flavour not to overly cooked either Lastly for dessert was the brownie!! A little bit dryer than expected but with the scoop of ice cream it was good! I should add the serving sizes here was impressive and we were soo full after our meal!! Once again Taylor you were amazing and please ask for him when you go!!

  We waited a long time for our food. I ordered a steak, and my husband ordered a main dish with two patties. Unfortunately, both meals were very disappointing. My wife’s steak was extremely hard to chew and swallow, and my husband’s dish did not taste good at all and lacked flavor. Because the steak was so hard, she couldn’t finish it and had to ask the staff to pack it to take home. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality. Overall, this was not a good experience, and we won’t be returning.
