The restaurant is in absolute shambles, I’ve formally been an employee of 5guys and this is not what we are trained to do. The seating area was very dirty and so was the line. Staff has to do better job keeping the restaurant clean.

5 guys? More like 2 chefs and 3 lollygaggers. I think I'm giving this review more than it deserves... I came here with a group of 5 and we were all pleased until it came to the shell peanuts... there's a giant box of complimentary shell peanuts but one of us had noticed some were spotted and somewhat moldy. It was giving us a bad impression because these peanuts were roughly down to a couple scoops. It was like they were covering the old peanuts with the new ones. 5 guys, I'm absolutely certain this is wrong, definitely deceiving and needs to be looked into. Clearing 1 of 5 guys isn't doing their job properly. I'm honestly glad we noticed this sooner rather than later. I would've gotten a picture, but it's like 1 of the 5 guys is paid to lollygag right by the box. When one of my friend's had brought this to their attention, it was immediately shrugged off. He didn't respond to my friend. Instead, he just had some short dialog in another language to his coworker at the grill, and ran off to another counter to face away from us, implying he wanted nothing to do with this situation... We know 5 guys is American, but c'mom bro be understanding and decent to your neighbors. American's and Canadian's don't respond like this, that we know of... Make sure to check your nuts... After this, we just hoped after paying +$20 each our combo wasn't gonna be nuts :/ I got a double cheeseburger combo and it certainly did not lack... everything was hot, fresh and incredibly tasty. I assured that the burger and fries weren't nuts :/ but twas bussin... as a pro note, they overfill the bag with fries, always expect the bag to be loaded with more fries than expected, literally more than the fries container can hold. This is a nice twist especially because the fries were done perfectly. 5 Guys definitely have their own unique and enjoyable taste when it comes to burgers and fries. This undoubtedly pairs well with a group of friends, family or both. Just make sure your group can handle a little bit of attitude because these 5 guys can be like 5 divas... Food is great, check your nuts and watch yo self...

I use to frequent this location but it appears to have since changed ownership this past year sometime. Quality has gone downhill and I believe the new owner is substituting things and bypassing corporate suppliers which inturn is ruining the 5 Guys branding.and quality. It is even evident in the complimentary peanuts. If they are gonna substitute things like peanuts, Im sure other corporate products which make up the quality are also being subsitituted/sacrificed. I wonder if the meat is also being sourced from a different supplier. aka....similar to the Poppeyes fiasco earlier this summer.with their tainted unsanitary chicken. Going back to the scenario with the peanuts.. The actual box being used to display the peanuts clearly indicates that they are suppose to be salted and roasted. The peanuts in the box are not salted nor are they roasted!!!! They taste like crap and one can visibly see the difference in quality and taste! Peanuts in the box did not originate from the original box and have been swapped out. One can simply visit this Burlington Mall location and check out the peanuts themselves. Is the meat the same quality? Are the potatoes also being subsituted? What about the fresh ingredients and toppings? Anyways... try the peanuts and you will know right away! Im skeptical about returning. Don't want to get sick.
