  Asked server to please bring my appetizer before main meal do i could enjoy appetizer before I get main meal. She said yes . I again politely asked her to not submit orders until im part way thru my app. Not even barely started my app therec was my main dish. I politely said I asked for it to be after . The server who was not my waitress said it was not her fault that she did not take order. I never implied she did. So I told her I knew that but I still don't want my food yet and I don't wantbitbto sit around and get cold and get reheated. She just walked away with food neverccame back. Then when the waitress came back with the question any body want dessert I said no because I did not have my meal yet. She then ssid that I refused it. I said no I asked for a fresh one when my app was partially gone. Then I said never mind but I am not paying for the main meal. She just walked away. Came back to table with bills. As our friends paid she turned her back to us and talked to table guest beside us. When she gave me the machine I waited. She finally turned around and I said I guess I can pay now. After I paid and none of us tip her I looked closer at the bill and it had a comment stating YOUR MEAL IS ON US. WONDERING WHAT MEAL. POOR SEEVICE. GUESS THAT'S WHY SWISS CHALETVL WAS EMPTY AT 6PM ON A FRIDAY NIGHT.

  The problem lies more with Swiss Chalet policies. Starter soup now to large, plate filled with fries to cover up for quarter chick servings. Last time we ordered chicken parm and the kids, not chefs, really over cooked and barely had sauce. Salads that are loaded with rice to create more profit. In the old days Swiss was much better. You got a full quarter etc, etc.

  it ok the food takes longer sometimes...but good things take time.. so far its the same since i can recall my friend Nicolas Andrade owns a location in Mississauga. So i know good quality food when i see it.

  Jen B. was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful visit.

  Online ordering was down so went to the take out counter. I was told to wait in the vestibule because it would not be long. Over 15 minutes later the order was not up. In February, don’t suggest people wait inside. 4 persons deep in a small space waiting. It was hot and chaotic. The forced combo to include a drink was also a miss. Unfortunate because the staff seem nice. We will not be back for subpar take out Swiss Chalet, nostalgia won’t win over sensibility. Would not recommend.
