  Challenging to place order over phone Lengthy delay recieving 2pm ish ...approx 60 min delay Rib and chicken combo dinner disappointing for quantity of food. Taste acceptable Chicken pot pies were disaster being tossed and broken up during delivery. Very poor value for dollar spent ..

  As a hockey team, we were accommodated well for our large group. Our service was excellent and we are happy to return! Food was quick with one minor issue although it was fixed with apologies. Our team with parents were very satisfied and enjoyed this location. Thank you to Swiss Chalet and our waitress. Great job.

  Mu husband and I took our 3 kids here this evening, it started off well, arrived at the establishment at 4:45, the hostess was great and let our youngest help her bring the menus to our table, it quickly went down hill from there. Our sever was nice enough, but very disorganized. We had barley been seated when our server came and asked us for drink orders( which was good, in the sense of quick service, but also didn't even have time to look at the options for drinks.) Once we got our drink orders in, and recieved our drinks, we quickly ordered our starter and meals. We ordered mozzarella sticks for an app, which took atleast 25 minutes to come out, our food took quite a while to arrive as well, roughly another 30 minutes after our appetizer was delivered, and was very sperratic, waiting atleast 10 to 15 minutes between the time the first meal was received till the last meal was delivered to the table. Mind you we still hadn't recieved cutlery even after our food had arrived. The food was really good, no real complaints there. We ordered desserts as well, which also came out very sperratic, and the doughnuts were well over cooked. By the time we were finally able to get out of the restaurant it was roughly 7 pm. Over 2 hours, we had watched two tables be served cleaned and re-seated and recieve their food before we recieved our food. This was our first time ever visiting the Brantford location, and I'm sure we won't be back any time soon.

  This is not the first time I have encountered this problem but it will be the last time as I won’t be returning here again. The pick up service needs a complete overhaul. I ordered food online to avoid having to wait at the take out area. I arrived promptly for pick up when my food was supposed to be ready. Even though I preordered and arrived on time I had to wait one hour from the time I ordered. The waiting area was full of customers exchanging stories about how long they had been waiting. I enjoy the food but I can no longer tolerate their ability to fail at the take out area. Management needs to wake up and listen to their customers or better still try the take out service themselves to see how horrendous it is. Not impressed. Update - I was contacted promptly after posting this review and received an apology for the poor service along with a promise Management would look into the matter. Happy with the outcome, have adjusted the review to 5 stars due to the follow up

  Dined in a few nights ago and my server “Joe” was overly “friendly” to my friend and I the entire time which is uncomfortable to say the least. Not to mention the constant pushing us to leave a positive google review which I have never experienced at any other place I’ve dined in at lol…food was mid and the experience was uncomfortable and strange so yeah… no THX!
