Since there was a food allergy, I tried calling the store but wasn’t able to get through, so I went in to see if it could be corrected. When I arrived, there was some confusion and disagreement about the type of cheese used. I was told that Canadian cheddar is orange, while I’ve ordered it as white at several other locations. Other subways have stated that the orange dye is what makes it Processed, not Canadian. I wish the situation had been handled with a bit more understanding and care, especially given that it involved an allergy concern. I hope the staff and management can work on clearer communication and customer service training so that future issues can be resolved more smoothly and kindly. At this same time an older man was there and did not have an app to download the coupon that apparently is only on the app. Instead of helping or honouring the deal, the lady treated him poorly by stating in a very rude tone only online. I’ve always enjoyed Subway in general, and I hope to see improvements at this location.
