Kris was my server and her energy was absolutely amazing! Brought us drinks before we even asked, stayed calm and extremely positive even though the restaurant was extremely busy at the time. Would recommend this location to anyone looking to enjoy a great meal with amazing service!!

Server Dshayne really needs to find a new career. 4 other servers had to help us throughout our dinner beginning with drinks (waiter 1) as he was too busy (there were only 5 tables with patrons…with lots of servers working so not sure what that was about…); after taking our order, he brought our soups and bread in one trip - hands full with a risk of spilling our soup as we helped him manoeuvre the bread paddle to the table. Quickly he left us with no plates, utensils or napkins (thanks to waiter 2 at the bar for grabbing us that…). When our entrees arrive along with a second loaf of bread we asked him for more butter. After waiting until most of our meal was done, we asked passing waiter 3 to ask our waiter for the butter, but waiter 3 quickly grabbed some. Not 2 minutes later, waiter 4 brings more butter, not our waiter. No quality check or return visit until we are quite finished and ask for a take out box. No ask for further drinks or anything else but the takeout box and two bills. When told only one bill needed, he questions “just to add the two then?”. Sensing our bewilderment and dead stare, he realized he can get us a new bill. After asking if we needed the debit machine, he was told we had cash to which he replied, “do you still need the machine?” When told no, he said he would return with some change…but he never returned. And so, it is highly unlikely we will either! PS… the chicken parm cutlet was over cooked (dark coating with char on tips and dried out); the lasagna was nothing like the picture and resembled a microwave Michelina’s and very watery.

I have been at East Side Mario's a few times and I like it enough to come back every now and then. I would give it something between a 4.2 and a 4.5 if I could. The service is pretty good, although is somehow hard call the attention of servers. It's a good place to share a family meal or have drinks with friends. The price benefit of the menu items has a good balance. The food quality is good but not outstanding. Most portions are good and if you have the all-you-can-eat, you will leave stuffed. The only time I lest disappointed was when I ordered lasagna. The portion was surprisingly small. Smaller than any other main dish I know from East Side Mario's, and clearly smaller than any other order I could see around my table. It was smaller than my palm (I am an average size person), and served in a large plate felt even smaller. It was OK in the end, but I order some other items to compensate and ate plenty of soup, bread, and salad. The taste was pretty average, so I didn't even wish having more lasagna, just wished I had ordered anything but that item. The drinks are good in general. The environment feels amicable and fun.

I was having the worst day, I thought my life was over, my wife cheated on me, my dog died, and I crashed my car. I was feeling bluer then a berry. That's when it happened, a server named Ava said, why so glum chum. And in that moment I locked in and said On God, why am I so glum. MY original server Jennifer, she said, "Stay Glum DUMB DUMB" that hurt the feelings, but then my new savior Ava made sure that this Dumb Dumb would never be a Glum Chum again, now I proudly write a review saying thank you, for now I have become a Chum no longer Glum, nor Dumb Dumb. ....................... My wonderful waitress Ava was a god send, was feeling a bit peckish when I decided to stop by east side Mario’s for a classic dining experience, however to my distraught a waitress named Jennifer spills water on my lap, with no apology and seeming rude until ava stepped in to help clean up the mess and elevated my experience to an 11/10. With the positive energy one can only presume to come from the presence of a goddess, Ava slayed out and her generosity, positivity and great attitude has been clocked. Keep slaying queen.
