I usually avoid buying food from fast-food or takeout places in Brampton because I’ve had so many terrible experiences in the past — but today was completely different. Samantha, a new trainee at Swiss Chalet, handled my order with the professionalism and confidence of someone who has been in customer service for years. I was genuinely surprised to find out she was still in training. Her patience, kindness, and attention to detail absolutely stood out. Because of her exceptional service, I will definitely be returning. I trust Samantha to oversee and handle my orders with care every time. Swiss Chalet — you’ve got a great one on your team!

- BLBook LoverNov 4, 20251.0I am a regular at this location. This is the second time our experience has been horrible. Our server was Baila. We waited 15 mins before our order was taken. She was the only server looking after 10 tables. This was on Sunday at 6 pm. I would imagine that there should have been at least one more server on a weekend. We received our food. The portion of fries was barely one serving. I was given an extra sauce automatically, I guess to accommodate for Baila being busy. We were not checked on during our meal. I had to get our servers attention 2x to get more drinks, which took 10 mins. By this time we were finished eating. Someone else (long hair & glasses) stopped by while we were eating. She asks "do you plan on getting dessert"? We told her we were not sure as yet. I asked if they were closing or if our server had to leave. She said she was helping out. It would have helped to say this first. She then starts taking our stuff off the table (we were still eating). I asked what she was doing. Her response was " I'm cleaning the table". I told her we were still eating. I had to ask back for the butter and napkins as she took them. We will not be returning to this location. It appears the staff are poorly trained, do the bare minimum and do not know how to communicate with diners. I have never seen a server so uninterested in doing work.
